How the fukk do we live in a place with so many energy companies and they can’t keep these lights on? I don’t remember lights situation being this bad in the 90’s during a storm or the 2000’s.

Man this some bullshyt, it was hot as fukk in the house last night. Got a generac installed last week fukking centerpoint wouldn’t give the guy the ok to cut the power to finish the install. so that bytch just sitting out there not connected and we don’t have power for over 24 hours. Hopefully dude come out today and just hook it up since the power shut off anyway

I got a portable AC unit on thanks to my generator and it still ain’t enough for this fukking heat

I think it won’t be too much longer tho since I can finally get on the internet and my uncle that lives 10-15 min from me got his power back

Our power came back on two hours ago. Only damage to the house was the fence in my back yard was half blown off. Grateful that nothing else happened. Prayers to everyone in the Houston metroplex who are suffering.
