Pre-election fukkery and anger at SL visit like @FAH1223 said. Its all theatrics. Somali politicians are so tightly integrated (and dependent) on Nairobi, that its hard to take the tough talk seriously. Farmaajo campaigned for his presidential seat out of Nairobi. Prob half his cabinet has assets/family/business links in Kenya. No chance any Govt will disentangle all that.
Also noticeable change in the foreign scapegoat these days
Federal Government very close to current Ethiopian Government and even fired their Foreign Minister for tweeting out an appeal for peace talks on Tigray. Now all the focus about "meddling" is focused on Kenya, even though Ethiopia plays just as important a part in Somalia today.

This was a potential danger, that part of the border is hella militarized. Funny since Sudan’s PM just came to Addis this week.
