This is great. Hope Ethiopia balkanizes. I can't wait to start using the word, "Ethiopianize". :ahh:

@2Quik4UHoes I see you getting angry about the West's stance in this situation but they've been supportive of Abiy even during the first few weeks of the war until the the ENDF was exposed for committing multiple human rights violations all over Tigray. In other words, he became indefensible.

Had he cleaned them up within 4-5 months the West would've forgiven and forgotten since he was liberalizing Ethiopia's economy unlike the TPLF. He failed and is losing so the West is cutting him off to save face. :russ:

You're also mistaking our pleasure with this situation as some sort of support for the TPLF. We don't like or support them in anyway. They are just doing what they should've done 30 years ago which is carve up Ethiopia like we instructed and trained them to do in the 80s. :youngsabo:

Meles and Afwerki used to live in the same dorm in Mogadishu. One of them betrayed us and the other did what he was supposed to do and cut off Ethiopia from direct access to the sea which hobbles their economy. :birdman:

Anyway Ethiopian brehs, you shouldn't be angry with our position. We're like the Igbos of Nigeria. Somalis suffered the most under Ethiopia so we have the right to dislike it. :yeshrug:

What's your position on Somaliland independence?

fukk outta here. America didn’t take much time at all to take the TPLF’s side in this conflict and they’ve tripled down on it since then. Balkanization helps no one in this situation. That’s always been the fukkin problem with our region. Too many idiots are convinced that not being unified is the answer when it’s not. Kwame Nkrumah told y’all bout this years ago and y’all still don’t get it. Foreign interests will continue to run our shyt as long as we refuse to work together and unify. In fact, I can even entertain the opposition’s disdain for a highlander centric idea of Ethiopia which I also don’t fukk with. Had Abiy actually been given a chance then the platform would’ve been there to challenge those old beliefs and change them. Besides, if your people are the most oppressed then how are the so called Amharas so fukkin poor and destitute still? If TPLF is champions for Tigrayans how is Tigray still a dust bowl? Everyone has been wronged by trash leadership, Somalis are not the only victims of trash leadership in Ethiopia.

My other issue is that how can there be any opportunity for Ethiopia to reconcile those grievances of the past if we’re always pitted against one another. Mind you, a good majority of our conflicts began with foreign antagonizing. Adal vs Abyssinia wasn’t out of thin air for example. The people always have to suffer for the sins of bad leaders and in the end there’s no reconciliation nor are those bad leaders taken to task. Centuries of suspicion and hurt feelings won’t be resolved with separation and leaving ourselves at a total disadvantage in the region.

If you told me tomorrow that Ethiopia no longer existed but East Africa from Sudan to Tanzania was one solid political entity I wouldn’t even be mad. Because the way to success has always been the unification of the region and forging our own political and economic destiny. Don’t ask how the Europeans or Americans or Chinese are successful if you not willing to implement similar shyt.

The bold part is exactly it...these people are not seeing the big picture, and it is unfortunate.

Somaliland case is unique however.

Tigrayans are upset about the UN report that was released today. It basically blamed all sides for atrocities but found no evidence of systemic genocide or forced starvation. :unimpressed:
