Played for a couple hours. So far I'm impressed, the amount of improvements is crazy and I'm just now headed to the forbidden west


Tryna figure put what build imma make. This game got multiple playthroughs right off the bat.

Just met Zo. Look like Varl bout to get some ass. Aloy played with those boy feelings too long

But man the animation here is crazy. TLOU2 was the last game I played whose animations impressed me like this

Game def starts to open up and feel more alive after chainscape/varl tutorial.

My advice for anyone when they get to chainscape is to get the spear and do one or two other sidequest for weapons and do the story until you get the shieldwing. It makes exploration so much better

This is nitpicky but I'm annoyed they don't allow us to disable tools from the HUD. Everything else can be disabled

That's because that's the refresh rate of the tv, not the game. Your tv by default is typically 60hz refresh rate. They can do 120 as well (least a CX can), but unless the actual content that you're watching/playing is at the higher fps, then your tv isn't dictating the game's actual frame rate. Like, your average show and/or movie are shot in 24 fps, but your tv is still a 60hz display by default.

What do you mean?

Go to settings -->General--->HUD visibility. Switch to custom, then Custom HUD settings will appear. I set everything on dynamic which is great because my damn eyes are always glued on the compass

That works on everything but the tools (bottom left icon) breh. It's on dynamic but it never turns off.
