Honestly would Hagler or Hearns have gave Floyd that work?

Near-Prime Floyd v. 38 year old fellow blown up Lightweight

1213947_o.gif

Feint'd jab to the body...right hand over the top...Hearns's bread & butter move...landed right on the button.

If that's a Hearns right hand...the aftermath is a scary sight

Floyd wasnt prime, Mosley is a HOFr, Mosley had been a legit WW for years and had fought a lot at JMW, and Floyd instantly recovered from a temple shot.

The Gawd has spoken :banderas:
He also picked Baldomir to beat Floyd :francis:

So because Pacquiao only landed 19% on Floyd that means something? Pacquiao missed 1000 punches against Clotty and landed 200.. He had like 20% land rate against Clotty.. It's not hard to keep someone under 25% if you have no intention on going for a knockout.
Ok so whats your point? Floyd would keep Hearns under 20%, outpoint him and win. It doesn't have to be a knockout to be a win.

I assume are you of the belief Floyd would go in a shell the whole fight like Clottey and lose? I think he outpoints and frustrates the hell out of Hearns and wins on the cards.

What do you think Mosley was?:heh:

Mosley was older than Floyd is NOW....and that was 5 years ago:russ:

Mosley was 4 months away from 39 when he fought a just turning 33 Floyd.

When Floyd moved up to 147, the power didn't come up with him. He doesn't beat Tommy Hearns at 147

Duran vs Floyd at 135

Floyd didn't instantly recover quite exactly. Floyd was out on his feet for a good 30 seconds at least, knees buckling. Shane did a miserable job. It was like he didn't even know that he had him hurt and I'm a Floyd fan.

What's your point exactly? Mosley decimated Margarito in his fight prior. He wasnt finished.

My point was, Floyd wasnt prime then. Like you said, the nikka was 33.

Nope. Nostalgia will win this one though. They would not land like many believe they would. Pacquiao has faster hands then both and he landed 19%. They have the reach but not the speed. Floyd wins decision against both but takes some punishment from the jabs. Then everyone calls the fight boring and Floyd a runner afterwards.
They both whoop Floyd easy...

Why? because they both had big size advantages and let their hands go...

Hagler unlike Pacquiao was a rentless pressure fighter and would have smothered Floyd inside...Floyd simply does not have the power to keep that man in the center of the ring where he could outbox him...Floyd would have never fought him at 160...

Hearns was lanky as fukk with a great jab, quick hands, relentless work rate and we don't need to elaborate on his ridiculous right...If you think Floyd is going to overcome all of that to outpoint a prime Hearns you crazy bruh...

How does Floyd always end up with these mythical matchups with bigger guys? It's almost as if y'all either don't know or don't care that Floyd basically loses on sheer size alone. Throw those cats in mythical matchups with Roy Jones, B Hop, Toney, etc.
