Damn you know what….i would assume I’d automatically pick the original but damn, the sequel has a certain amount of sadness and nostalgia to it. With NY as the backdrop. I actually may say #2

They are both the same movies, just in different settings.

My preference is for the first one. One of the first movies I remember watching in theaters way back when.

to revisit the classics..
a nikka, in tears just thinking about this comedy.
my side gonna hurt after this viewing at this age.
i done got so old. i can only revisit this shyt once a year.
the laughter at this age is gonna kill me.
like a weasel'y thug in a roger rabbit movie with judge doom.

I tell you what though.

Home Alone 2 perfectly describes what the people working for Trump look like: those idiots working in Plaza hotel chasing kid around, getting sonned by VHS tape while having no clue that he may be just a kid who's lost in the city :mjlol: really not far from reality.

Part 1 is way better. 2 i get bored with once he checks into the hotel idgaf. All the same jokes from part 1. Bigger setting, worse movie.

As a NY kid at the time, the hype was very real.

My mother used to work at a building near The Plaza hotel and I remember her telling me she saw two guys laying down in the street who she thought were homeless.

Turns out it was Joe Pesci and Marv filming a scene.
