I'm Atheist but you come off as intolerant and ignorant as any Christian I've come across. At least try and understand people who hold different beliefs than your own.
yes, im ignorant of any mind state and set of beliefs that would lead an innocent 12 year old girl to kill herself in order to join her dead father in the magical kingdom in the sky

no, its not something i tolerate. so far no one's even commented on the article because of the inconsistencies Christianity would regard it with. isnt that girl a sinner for killing herself=now in hell? what if her father was in hell in the first place?

@Napoleon is right, the fact that adults believe in this garbage is absolutely stunning. its time to admit that the reason we're on earth is a lot bigger and more incredible than christianity, or maybe its meaningless. but its certainly beyond our fukkin comprehension

and you know this how? sounds like an opinion to me.

One is more logical. Heaven suggests there's some invisible place in the sky with winged people and an all powerful dude.
the other simple suggests our conscience and personality becomes born again which isn't far fetched at all.

Then you don't believe in existentialism too? shyt, you don't believe in reality? Both necessitate the same stipulations you listed that could lead someone to kill themselves.

I'm not religious but I don't get hyprocrtical about any situation.

Biblical heaven suggests that... which might be a very simplified version of what heaven actually is. They both can exist... on doesn't cancel the other. Again that's your opinion of course.

Only Christians beleive in the afterlife? They don't have the monopoly on heaven my friend.... and I think that life being a test/simulation in the physical plane is pretty damn big.

Thats your suggestion based on your own assumptions. I can't tell you what heaven is but I can tell you that it's not in the sky on this planet, and that the creator is not a dude.
