Nobody knows what spiritual experiences really are. Who says they even have to be a physical experience. What If the chemicals in the brain open a doorway/pathway? Shamans take psychoactive drugs to induce them and come back with unexplainable knowledge. People who experience NDE's (near death experiences) are found to have DMT in their brain while they're clinically dead. Yet they are able to see their own bodies recall what everyone in the room was talking about even what they had in their hands. They've even traveled to other locations and done the same thing while not in their bodies. These are all one type of spiritual experience. I myself have had spiritual experiences some have been physical...many of them with other people around who experienced the same thing.

I always thought the soul or essence would move on to the next existence whatever that is. Heaven could be anything, who knows?
