Barr...

You think everybody successful was a culture theif or sellout.

Tell me this: what have YOU done for the culture?

I would wait... but I ain't got that long.

I actually was one of the top draws in the culturally accepted underground.
plus, the last knight of the Templar left to protecting the culture from a black artist in rap's perspective.

spare me, your faking jax and pass giving bullshyt.
like real talk,..
you say you are a dj.
yet, are you able to :

crab scratch
flare scratch
beat juggle

also...
have you ever made it out of your locale as a dj at the dmc?

are you known culturally as one of the best skilled in just your locale.

I am the city heir and in the world.
was known skillwise as the protégé to the best.
of which, I proved by my first release actually being a classic record.

that if you do searches on,....
as even as small as fans posting it on the internet.
to even lowly sites as low as soundclick..
I posted as number four rating out of over 130K songs in that genre.

on top of being the protégé to the legend and the hypeman to a guy who topped the underground/college radio charts on bds spins, as well.
all without selling out,...
so, fukk you...
you pass giving ass toy.

Barr...

You ain't got no damn classic record. Stop hallucinatin', breh.

You talk shyt on message boards. That's your legacy. Deal.

yeah,..
i do have an underground classic record, breh.
my debut record, and even my contemporaries and fans track me down to say so.
plus, like i said,...
when put up by fans,..it does do well.

» highest in sub-genre: # 4 (125,320 songs currently listed in HipHop > New School)
» today's position in sub-genre: # 2033 in New School

out of 1.8 close to 1.9 million..
my shyt was 63.

my shyt was number four, in hip hop > new school

i was not behind posting it,..
plus, it was brought to my attention like just a little while ago on this very site.
either this year or last year in like the winter months.
this record was posted in 04.

this is also, on a record twelve years old...

that was posted close to two years after it debuted in this incarnation on hpk.
from the original molemen version in 99.

now, stfu...

you nuffin but a pass giving deflection artist.

like i said,....
where are your dmc results.

you don't even have a background as a true legit fukk'n dj in the culture.
that is why you give passes, you bytch nikka.
i can't help it, if you a fukk'n toy ass dj with no fukk'n skills.

i already proved by my draw in the underground what type of nikka i am.
how about you do the same.
they got a dj contest for real dj's in hiphop with real skills.
go enter that shyt and post results.

unlike you ,...i already been culturally about shyt for real.
you have not...
that is why you don't have a fukk'n track record in the underground.
plus, no past draw as a real fukk'n dj with real skills.
while, alternatively...
i am known for knocking emcees off, and being better, for real...

i notice yo bytch ass ain't have shyt to say during tables month, either....

now, shut the fukk up.
before i table you up, for the umpteenth time.

Take a good look, Coli...

This is what old guys do when they got nothing better.

Soundclick breh? You might as well tell me your shyt got 735 listens on your Myspace page. Don't nobody care about your 10 year old song on an ancient website, you washed-up never-was has-been ass nikka.

You're the equivalent of an old nikka walkin' around the neighborhood with Cazals and suede Pumas on, not realizin' nobody listens to you cause you still live with your moms and your nephews lend you money. You're a bum nikka with a bum nikka mentality. We laugh at your shyt. We chuckle at your delusions of grandeur and belief that you rank amongst any artist that's ever mattered at any point in the history of hip-hop, underground or otherwise.

Art Barr the wrestler meant more to that industry as a rookie than Art Barr the MC has ever meant to hip-hop at 58 years old with thousands of posts on the Coli.

It is not I that gets on here pretending to be an iconic DJ with a legacy... cause I'm not. Unlike you, I remain grounded in reality. I don't have time to post long rants on artists that I deem "toys" and "sellouts" because their careers turned out better than mine. Don't nobody care, breh. So you right, I've never competed in a DMC competition... shyt has nothin' to do with you bein' a fukkin' lame. And all the while, I guarantee you I'd rhyme your old ass under a table too.

Now go iron your fat laces, Ol' School. Gotta make 'em nice and crispy for tomorrow. Got a lot of incoherent posting to do. Ah-Ha-Ha-Ha-HA!

The World, but from BK
Y'all keep on blaming nikkas for stealing and downloading music.

Negro please.

The first time I ever saw anybody downloading music illegally was back in 1997. My white friend at the time was downloading every album from any member of the Wu-Tang.

Whites and Asians are the real culprits, they were the first main ones bootlegging shyt.

It was not a normal idea or lifestyle for African Americans in the 90's and early 00's to have a personal computer and internet in their households.

It wasn't until around 2005 when African Americans started purchasing personal computers and internet. That's when it became normal for us to have them.

Stop saying nikkas don't support shyt. The game been fukked up with or without our help before we had the technical power to illegally download music.

:what:

Where is this info coming from? :beli:

I been knowing folks having the internet since '95

Breh,
It's not rocket science.
The common African American did not purchase any personal computers until they became more affordable around the mid 00's.

If you were an African American that had a personal computer in the 90's or early 00's you either had one because you came from a rich family and needed one that dealt with your career or schooling. They were too expensive back then to just go out and purchase one because you wanted one.

I don't agree with them years you putting up , and I don't know what you consider the common African American. My fam wasn't dirt poor or filthy rich but we had a computer since the 90's. Same for a lot of people I met before the 00's. Location may be a factor.

I agree,
Also which is why I said if your family had one it was due to their career or schooling.

Hip Hop still lives. It does suffer though. The thing it suffers most from are:

1) Everybody's a rapper.

2) Everybody's a critic

3) Hip Hop as a culture has been reduced to just the music

4) The other elements have been replaced by what these "Hip Hop" reality shows offer which is gossip and tabloid fodder. Artists who were on the cusp of blowing up and artists whose careers stalled get a second wind, not by releasing new music, but by going on a reality show. The music suffers because now they are stars for everything, but making music. It goes back to the point of everybody being a rapper, because we as "commentators" instead of fans see Hip Hop more as a hustle or an avenue for cash flow than an art form or culture. Like, hey I can make some records, make a few dollars and when my music is no longer poppin', I can just go to VH1.

We don't really have fans anymore, but more so commentators.

Well put

Nowadays most people rap and even the ones who dont rap are critics

Then social media got everybody trying to be a celebrity

nikkaz clown Joe Budden but he called that shyt a long time ago "if everybody's a star, where the fukk is all the fans?"

People too good to be fans now, they either trying to be stars themselves or they're critics

shyt is disgusting

youre conveniently leaving out the fact that 2001 was also the weakest year for albums ever at that point.

Huh?

2001 was one of the best years for hip hop

Stillmatic
Blueprint
The Realness
Devil's Night
Word Of Mouf
Professional 2

The year Kiss and Fab debut albums dropped, even tho they weren't the classics people were expecting they were both better than 99% of the albums droppin now

The Great Depression had some bangers on it and was a solid album overall

Fat Joe dropped a dope album that year too

And I'm pretty sure I left some albums out, that was off the top of my head

Cam came back late 2001 and became the Cam most nikkaz from this generation idolized, and the eventual Dipset, all that started in 2001

Not to mention the best year for battles in hip hop history

Nas vs Hov and Kiss vs Beans happened in that same year

State Property Vs Dblock

2001 was an incredible year for hip hop

Uh...

I was told that Hip-Hop music was for the hoes...specifically hoes, money, & clothes...
