Because anyone or anything that pertains to blackness where black people have been intellectually superior then cacs, the race of the said person or people has to be disputed to disporve black people are intellectually superior then cacs.

See Ancient Egypt, the Moors, Hannabal, Septimius Severus, Attila, etc.

All are still disputed by cacs because they cannot fathom black men being intellectually superior then cacs

They can let A-rabs have Saladin, or any other ethnic non-black icon, but a black man who embarrassed cacs cannot be black.
Septimius Severus was a Roman Emperor. By the time he was emperor, Romans had established colonies in North Africa and he was born to a Roman in North Africa...

Rome has a good record of taking histories and creating life like recreations, particularly busts, of famous Roman people. Septimius Severus was African born but he wasn't black breh...

Unlike Hannibal bust, there are several marbel bust of Septimius Severus including coinage that we can pretty much assume are accurate.

Its only uknown to the ignorant. He wasnt a ghost. He was a living breathing human being that has records of his existence. Not going to try and convince you of the facts however, so please feel free to believe whatever you like:manny:.

You're probably one of those clowns that think aliens built the pyramids..:mjlol:
:what:No I'm not , the truth is there is just not much evidence known to the public.

The reality is that there isn't much known about how Hannibal looked.

Carthage is in North Africa, that is correct. However, there are folks in here acting like it has been proven without a doubt his "race" is proven when it hasn't. I don't care one way or another but the only known recreation of "Hannibal" is this Roman bust made, and even historians agree that there is no way to verify its an accurate representation or if it's even supposed to be him

250px-Bust_of_Hannibal.jpg

In the end, no one knows for sure. Especially since after the second punic war, Carthage was absolutely demolished as punishment for Hannibal's actions against Rome.

Stop spreading half-truths and lies for political points. There is nothing wrong with admitting uncertainty.

That Roman bust of Hanibal has widely been acknowledged as fake and unrepresentative of the real Hannibal.

Hannibal was a from north African around 200-300 BC, well before the Arabs took over that region. Again, the only people still confused on his ethnicity are white supremacists.

The term Moor isn't exclusively linked to practitioners of Islam. "Moor" and "Black African person" were used interchangeably for thousands of years.

Again, go and read more.
So was moor = North African who practiced Islam it was also used interchangeably. Just like an American can any race of a person. Hannibal was not refer to as a moor from knowledge.

Yeah but he was ethnically phoenian. Let me know but their is no evidence that I know of that refers to him a moor. No first hand accounts of him being referred to as a moor.

Found the article I read on this below.

The Milwaukee Sentinel - Google News Archive Search

French historian Gabriel Audisio said in 1961:

"I consider Hannibal to be neither a Phoenician, nor a Carthaginian, nor a Punic, but a North African".

Gilbert Picard wrote:

"The majority of the (Carthaginian) populace seems to have had African, indeed Negroid, ancestry".

Audisio continued to explain why they were Black:

"The Carthaginians, colonizers of North Africa, in contrast to today's colonizers of Algeria, were not averse to mixed marriage. The historians agree that this was accepted social custom among the aristocracy as well as the middle & lower classes. One is, then, in no way hindered in saying that Hannibal was part of this majority of African ancestry".

You didn't read my post. I said as much that its unknown if its actually him or not.

The problem here is that he could of very well been black. However, at the sametime, there is not much evidence of what his race actually was. We can assume he is black but that is it. For some reason though, just like white supremacists are dead set on thinking he wasn't black, others are dead set on thinking he was.

There is a third option here which is that its unknown.

WOW! When I clicked thread I thought it would be this doc.

Never knew about the doc in the OP. Anyways it has ALWAYS puzzled my mind that Eurocentrics in media NEVER had any problems with displaying the Carthaginians, Hannibal, Moors or any other Northwest Africans as BLACK, while they always portrayed the Ancient Egyptians as pale skinned Caucasoids?????:ohmy::ohmy::ohmy:

I NEVER got that...:ohmy::ohmy::ohmy:

When in fact Carthage unlike Ancient Egypt was actually a VERY MIXED society and the origins of Hannibal Barca is not really clear and the founders of Carthage were NOT African(though its up for debates) but were from the Near East and so Hannibal was most likely Near Eastern. Really this shyt is mad confusing...:mindblown:
