So u dont believe in "media propaganda", a tactic of systemic opression thats been used for a century now, because you dont like the person talking about it? :jbhmm: Wow

If i posted a vid of someone else explaining how "media propaganda" works, would that make a difference?:ld:

Sure it exists but its not hip hops fault. Stop blaming black people and our culture.

You ever read Fredikk Douglas? That first chapter is :ohlawd:.

Slavery fukked us up. Not hip hop.

Stop posting youtube videos blood. I dont respect these phony hotep nikkas.

Spirituality wise and optimism wise, we are at its worst. Even back in slavery and Jim Crow, we sang songs of aspiring to be better off or yearning for a better life. Now, you got cats that don't try to fight for anything outside of materialism and p*ssy, but brag about what the streets want.

Hiphop culture is the BIGGEST reason all black people are stereotyped:what:. Its the biggest reason blacks are judged as a group instead of individually, like every other race.
So what were the reasons we were stereotyped before hip hop cuz if im not mistaken its been going on way longer than that?

There's a reason you have to "dig and find" black music that promotes positivity. Meanwhile, i turn my radio on and every other song is telling me to "move that dope" or glorifying lean and popping pills

and then it becomes "well who do u blame?" I turn my radio on to the Hip Hop station and its a bunch of Blackmen trying to convince me they are criminals. OK if the major labels are the machine then who are these numerous amount of Blackmen lining up to feed the machine?? At some point I cant just keep blaming the machine.

Yup

Wearing Brooks, or no name shoes :scust:

A black man cant do anything "outside of the box" without being labeled as less than black, soft or even gay due to the stereotypes that hiphop culture promotes. Most of which are negative.

Cats said the same thing to my Sonic the Hedgehog avi, calling it "soft" and "real grown black men don't follow that crap, real nikkas follow rappers" :smh:

I like hiphop music too, but yall really gotta stop actin like it doesn't promote a gang of negativity and have a negative impact on ppl.

I was thinkin this when I was going through old 2 live crew videos...
well hiphop actually started out positive and it degenerated into what it is now, once corporations got a hold of it and found out how powerful NWA and gangsta rap was ....

the problem is...there isnt no balance, labels only put money behind ignorance ....

Thats the thing tho...Back then we did have balance, for every 2 Live Crew you had a Public Enemy...for every NWA we had a BDP. And groups like 2 Live Crew and NWA were limited...You didnt hear them on radio and a lot of their videos were banned. Radio had more consideration for responsibility but like Azie from Paid In Full said....the ;abels wouldnt allow cursing but once they saw that it was selling they said fukk it!

Well i guess Jim Crow, redlining, the intentional pumping of drugs & guns into black communities didnt have an affect after slavery to CONTINUE the oppression:yeshrug:

According to breh, white supremacy never evolves and finds new tactics of oppression:yeshrug:

And thats hip hops fault?

Ok, and it continues the tradition. But like i said before "fuk cacs"

Fuk "cacs". Hiphop culture is the main reason we stereotype OURSELVES. Its playing a large role in OUR OWN SELF-HATE and why we fear and distrust each other. THATS the biggest issue. Damn what everyone else thinks. Poisonous hiphop is helping to keep us fractured and fearing/distrusting each other instead of uniting us.
