I like hiphop music too, but yall really gotta stop actin like it doesn't promote a gang of negativity and have a negative impact on ppl.

I was thinkin this when I was going through old 2 live crew videos...
EXACTLY!

We all love hip hop but ignoring the negative impact of it is delusional.

Soooooo 5 pictures represents 30 million people? Speaking on reasoning and comprehension. Post pictures of blacks getting thier diplomas, buying houses, or cleberating new employment as well lame. Or does the pictures you posted better fit your c00n ass logic.
Another idiotic statement. The thread is about the destructive nature of hip hop. No one said those five pictures represent sixty million people. Of course, you know this, but you just wanted an opportunity to try to call a black man a white supremacist racial epithet, which is pretty much how the game goes on here. One minute fools are protesting mass incarceration and police brutality, the next they're shouting about how things are looking up and our status is "skyrocketing". With a loss of forty percent of our wealth, fifty percent youth unemployment, and a seventy percent out of wedlock rate. The fukking article you cited demonstrated fools enrolling in college but not graduating, which basically is nikkas getting into debt with nothing to show for it.

The discussion is about how hip hop promotes white supremacist stereotypes of black people. I didn't see nikkas in jail dressed like Charlie Pride and Cowboy Troy. The fact that you bozos keep trying to defend this shyt, albeit with some of the worst logic and most brazen disingenuity possible, is indicative of how much of a fukking parody this board is. There's a goddamn thread on the front page right now of a rapper who caught a DWI and a narcotics distribution charge. If a motherfukker is accumulating wealth and power because of hip hop, he's in the goddamn minority compared to all the nikkas who've taken a loss because of this repugnant bullshyt.

All hip hop is not degrading. In fact it took almost 15 years for it to even begin to be degrading. Even now there are gems amid the rubble.

Hiphop culture is the BIGGEST reason all black people are stereotyped:what:. Its the biggest reason blacks are judged as a group instead of individually, like every other race.
Naw I have to disagree, those stereo types that hop hop perpetrated was already in existence before the blk community...

blk ppl were already judge as a group long before hiphop. This was a popular phrase to use on "good blks" back in the day, " You are a credit to your/his/ her race "

What about the crackas who pushed away from the afrikaan bambata/public enemy wave
u can lead a mule to the water, but u can't make the mule drink it... BLK folks chose the negativity over the positivity... the same way, ppl chose barnabas over jesus.

But let me shed some light on this real quick. The government has admitted to planting agents in the black community selling guns and drugs. There has been studies of governments trying to implant agents into various countries music industries as underground artists to get there messages across. To make a long story short is basically advertising or sending messages through songs. To say that hip hop or the image of being a hood nikka or a gangster doesn't affect the black community is pitiful and delusional( call me a c00n or cac idgaf yall Nikkas hella stupid).

I don't think anybody doubts the power of the media on the mind of people.

....but saying Hiphop was the first time we have used the stereotypes of us for profit or elsewise is dishonesty and ignores recent history

exactly hip hop is farrrr from the first time .
In the 80's, we had Mike and Prince. in the 90's it Was PAc and Big...in the 80's Mike and Prince were the super effeminate, non threatening blk males, and were as much of a stereotype as Tupac and Biggie's brutish thug savage gangsta image..
in 2016, we're back to the super effeminate, non threatening emasculated image being pushed by the young male rappers ...

A lot of people especially those who love rap, don't want to listen to this. They rather put their heads in the sand and act like nothing said in this thread is right.

B b but they soft oldheads and can't understand the things we go through now.

Get white people off your mind for a sec. Modernday hiphop is a HUGE reason black people stereotype OTHER BLACK PEOPLE. Hiphop culture is a big reason alot of black youth feel the need to hide their true intelligence and instead act ignorant and "swagged out". Its a big reason why our overall racial pride is at an all-time low. Its a big reason why the black image is that of a joke to the world. Its a big reason why some blacks fear and distrust other black people

Hiphop culture has reduced the black image to that of violent, uncivilized thugs IN OUR OWN EYES.

That's why bedwenching an all time high. :smh:

The breakdown of our desire to be better and the lack of incentive to have knowledge of self is killing us, from the inside out.
