lol...you know what's funny about you, Mowgli? You've been a know the ledge/higher learning regular for several years, and you don't even possess and active interest or knowledge base in regard to the topics that are usually discussed in either place.

You only come to the knowledge forums for two reasons:

1. To beef with people.

2. To rant about your favorite topic, male homosexuality.

Let's be realistic for a second. There are only 3 people on KTL that didn't have beef or argue all the time with someone. Brown Pride, TheReal and me (Non-Chalant1). I don't think BP's here, but he'd have my vote and I just told the TheReal today on that other site that someone on here nominated him. I'll never get how people can nominate people for mods that have clear beef on here with others, but even if they could be objective, would you want them to be? You lose something as far as comedy goes if you make VVD a mod. He loses half his steez while playing impartial to what is sometimes stupidity. That goes for anyone who consistently posts on here to the point of being readily identifiable as one of a certain persuasion.

With that said, we need to work on building this site back up. One thing I thought about was having different topics up like: college planning, a dropbox for outlines, etc.

TWISM (I think) also had that really good post about online classes from universities. Or links to lectures, etc.

I think this forum should be transitioned into a place where you would ask any questions relating to education, careers, world news and politics.

fukk modding this forum. This place should go unmodded. There should be no limitations on free thought and expressions.

THIS is what any place like KTL or HL should be about. For this reason the best mod in KTL history was NJJ, i'm pretty sure he was just collecting a check because his ass was never around and it made the place great.

Same, weekdays i'm straight, weekends is family time. And right now we're going through an audit at work so my ass is knee deep in crap until the end of the month.

I'm modding it as of right now, but those were all good choices. If only they'd show up here and post. But with that said, we need a lot more activity on here.

Do you all think this place would benefit from a drop-box where people post up course outlines, study charts, etc. Obviously everyone doesn't take the same courses, but a lot of things would be transferable. We shared one like that in law school (myself and others).


I don't get how the election thread isn't popping right now though.

KTLHL IMHO should have a mod that don't do shyt outside of sticky and perhaps merge a thread or two.

The real would be good as would NZA.
VVD just wants it to much, that reeks of agenda (The thought of you with power scares me.)

Good lord we should never let VVD become a moderator of anything. The guy who hunts through the smallest pieces of text to look for ammo he can use against other posters. Lets do our best to nominate someone a little more fair and balanced. Moderators shouldnt be people who have a history of making threads to demoralize and trash other people for little to no reason. The guy who calls you stupid for not agreeing with him. Yea, lets never ever ever do this. This definately needs a vote. A vote i know hed lose, thankfully. I'll take TheReal as a mod over Doom any day.

I haven't been e-beefing in higher learning unless I'm responding to insulting comments from people like Mowgli and Radamiir carrying over their hurt feelings from the other site. But I don't want to be a mod anyway. Bar None seems to be doing a good job.

I think the way to do it would be, the people recording should have an informal session first, like 15 mins where we just talk and get used to each others' rhythm (n/h?) and then we formalize and start recording

would be good to have post recording production too like cutting out dead spaces, ahhs umms etc but we can leave the advanced stuff for future episodes
