do the moderators know how to record the podcast and everything? any tech questions?

We already got me, HHL4E, and Serious good for Sunday evening. We could use 1-2 more. Who else want in?

Can't speak for anyone else, but the fact that I don't get home until 11 every weeknight kinda hinders me from being able to log into skype at my pc and talk to people
for 30-60 minutes. I'm posting from my phone now as I usually do. People have lives.

I know people had lives. That's why I was on board with 9:30 lol. I mean, I won't be around much this weekend.

No one was ever looking for the entire forum. I was looking for a legit 4 people. The people wanted VVD, what do you want me to do in dude is Count chocula's cousin (no Sammy Sosa)?

I'm down for Leyet, Mowgli, HH, VVD, and Serious. Others can just call in. Hell, I might call in.

Ok, after witnessing last nights debacle I am volunteering my services to host the podcast this week if you guys haven't found anyone yet. I think we can do a brief overview on current events then possibly follow that with a 20-30 minute discussion on whatever hot topic is trending in news/and or politics.

Witty comments are ok, but the overall tone of the podcast should be respectful and serious. Im am NOT for playing the dozens for 45 min.

i think a brief roundtable on current events and hot thread topics is definitely a good idea.

i also cant co-sign the bold enough... it doesnt have to be a dry dissertation discussion in the vein of

i think a little bit of humor and lively discussion combined with intellectual debate is the perfect mix to make this a successful venture.

Being that this is a hip-hop board, it's only right that we spend at least a portion talking about it imo. Not who's the best mc or whose album knocks, but the cultural and sociological aspects of it.

I can record and edit the podcast for the first few episodes, but I cannot be responsible for this indefinitely due to my bust schedule. I was hoping we can share a podomatic account and whomever has the responsibilities of uploading the current episode should do so.

I use audacity for recording, editing, and creating mp3s. Available for both Windows and Mac
