Outline could be like:

1.Trade School Vs. Formal education: Salary ceiling

2.JC / CC vs. 4 year universities vs. Ivy League :loans, scholarships, internship

3. Post graduate degree programs vs. graduating with BS/ BA: employment

4. career choices / things you wish you could have changed....

I really think TWISM should participate in the education debate.

We should try to get cristian from KTL on a podcast lmao. Can you imagine that? I wonder if he talks like that in real life...would he get up there and be like "You brainwashed scum-sucking partisan hacks of the Democratic wing of the One War Party licking the filthy oil-stained a$$holes of Obomber and the corporate imperialist merchants of genocide who are enemies of humanity, plants, animals, the air, ground, and water deserve to have your skulls split open with axes and your skin flayed from your demonic insectile skeletons."

I think many are apprehensive about getting into a debate or discussion without the luxury of digging up facts and arguments on the internet with no time constraints. I'm a little concerned about that myself but I'd still do it. It would be a challenge to keep my sword sharp.

I don't envision some Fox News type scream fest. Just a roundtable discussion. Who knows...maybe some posters will show some natural talent at it and it could take off as an official show that crosses over outside of the coli. We might could get our Young Turks on.

I think the education topic is a good one for the first show especially if the aim is to keep things civil but I guarantee that once the topic moves to politics (especially the presidential election) that civility will be thrown out the window and people will start catching feelings.

Honestly I think the education topic is kinda played. I cringed at the last few threads in KTL on that. Its one of those topics where people tend to just defend the choices they've made in life, rather than trying to have any sort of objective discussion. And then that though process is also projected onto other posters. For instance if I say "everyone shouldn't be a STEM major", that must mean I wasn't a STEM major (false). This is a problem in general: people need to learn to discuss things without constantly trying to make it into a personal thing.

Carry on though. I'll be interested in participating if we wanna get into more lofty topics.

I remember that discussion. The situation you described is exactly how I was getting portrayed. But I here what you're saying. But the thing is, I'm not going to sit here and tell anyone what to do. So whatever topic you guys want, I'm push for it. It's your board. BTW, other people posting in the forum in general would add more to it. We've exhausted a lot of topics between certain people.

Im very interested. So who is putting this together again?

Mook would record it, but it might actually be hosted a different way.

So far, you, Vick. Username, Serious and one other (sorry I forgot) said that they'd be down.

I'd obviously help with the topics. Maybe we can have it set up so that people can call in.
