NO DOUBT, BUT I WAS READING THROUGH THE ENTIRE THREAD AFTER WATCHING IT LAST NIGHT AND IT SEEMS LIKE MANY POSTERS HERE DID.
What "many people" do you speak of that dont have security systems in 2018?
I noticed they didnt even have a tv in the house....
IVE BEEN TO PEOPLES HOUSES WHERE THEY DONT HAVE CAMERAS LOL AS WELL AS PEOPLE WHO HAVE SECURITY SYSTEMS AND DONT BOTHER TURNING IT ON REGULARLY

I grew up in a city with an estimated population of 80K and we never had a security system or cameras. And that's not even counting all the college students, which probably puts the total closer to 100K when school is in session.
I don't have either where I live now. But where I live now is about as safe a location as it can get these days.
I live in a pretty rural area of the NH seacoast and there’s a lot of highly educated, wealthy families that don’t have security cams on their property and intentionally keep TVs out of the house around here. I grew up with a few kids like that. A couple of them were...interesting
My bio teacher sophomore year in hs who was a cool as shyt crunchy granola yet reformed hippy, who would talk underground hip hop with some of us said his kids wouldn’t have a tv growing up because there’s too much trash on it. We clowned him when we were 16 but fukk if I don’t agree with him for the most part these days
