That's like 3-4 cards away from the flagship. i mean if you got a flagship in your PC that's a high end PC. when you're that many cards away that's a budget PC. on the AMD side anything less than an R9 280X is a compromise and really it should at least be an R9 290 vanilla.

You dont need the top end card to have a high end PC :camby: your knowledge is embarassing to the PC master race :camby: games now a days are as much or more dependant on processor/cpu than GPU. Having a high end processor with a mid tier card will get you better results than having a high end card and a mid tier processor. I cant speak for every one else but im getting pretty tired of carrying these conversations with you, go google some shyt.. You are the type that just throws money at something and think youll get results :snoop:

:dahell: howd you add the extra $110 in the price tag :russ: ?

Itll only need to be upgraded if you want to continue to play games years from now on max settings, at 60 fps..you know.. something your console cant even accomplish currently :russ:

$110 is a modest amount for a KB mouse/controller and windows.

And your entire angle was to show affordable PC gaming that would outperform the consoles. If you want to keep outperforming them you'll have to upgrade your budget system within a year or two.

This computer will out perform PS4 for the duration of PS4 if comparing settings to settings...

PS4 ceiling is 60 fps 1080p... this computer already runs that.. so how would a PS4 ever out perform this computer ? use some fukkin common sense :mindblown:

No it won't. Your computer will not be able to play crysis 2016 on high/ultra without being upgraded.

:dahell: yes the fukk it will with a i7-4770k itll play it on high no problem with a higher FPS than console too

:russ: what a horrible example. Crytek engine is probably most CPU intense engine and this has the best processor in the gaming world in it :wow: :umad:

As dumb as you might think I am even I'm not gonna call a PC with a sub $200 graphics card high end. If that's high end then what's a 4770K and a GTX 780 Ti?

You said it yourself you put a mid tier card in the PC. No longer high end once you're putting mid tier components in it.

then a GTX 690 is topper end?

I'm not debating that a R9 270 isn't a better budget minded card I'm saying that card is 3-4 away from the flagship which would be considered high end. nothing less than a R9 280X should be called high end.

You're right my knowledge is embarrassing but I know enough to know your value minded build ain't high end. That's like trying to pass off a BMW 5 series as a high end car when we all know that's the budget BMW that broke people lease so they can say they have a BMW.

A $180 graphics card isn't high end. You know it and I know it. You telling me to get out of the discussion doesn't change that.

ASrock motherboards are pure trash...especially because they are so finicky about what type of RAM they will have...or maybe it's just me...I've had 3 issues with motherboards in my entire life and they were all ASRock boards...

Not really feeling that power supply either...no option for SLI...and if you upgrade your card you are probably going to have to upgrade your power supply...

Not a bad set up though...anyone clowning it is a clown themselves...thats pretty good for the price and specs wise would smoke a next gen console and maybe a next...next gen console...

Problem is that PC games evolve graphically way faster than console games do...so realistically that card could get you buy on all settings on ultra for a max of maybe...a year and a half...

But a larger case and SLI....pppfff...you can eat good for a minute...
