Best thing about Heat, that was missing from Black Hat and Miami Vice, is every fukking bit character to the lead brought it when they were on set. Every single one. No weak links in the cast, and Mann was engaged to a level he has never been able to recapture.
The North Hollywood shootout and this movie changed law enforcement forever.
GOAT shootout, and good ass movie. let me drop an unpopular opinion though;
this is not some amazing, classic, all time fukkin scene
it just isnt. once you get over the fact that its "the deniro/pacino finally meeting up on film"
what the fukk is so good about it? deniro is freeze dried, pacino is decent but whatever. the dialog is whatever
"i do scores. you stop guys like me from doing scores". compelling stuff
i guess its just me, but this is a letdown
