Iono why y'all wait so long

...because some of us have businesses, children, investments etc. Those things aren't so cut and dry.

It took me 6 hours to record all my expenses. The actual taxes took maybe 45 minutes to an hour.

My refund check is lovely though.

What trips me out is I’ve heard stories of ppl not touching their taxes for like 4-5 years before anything happens.

Someone I worked with years ago (he was young) was like “oh yea, someone just helped me. I hadn’t filed taxes for like 2 years”. I was like “ ?! And they didn’t do anything?!” Lol

Last year I made the most money ever and had RSUs as well, but was getting a refund of 1800$. I filed everything correctly and turbotax double checked it. Researching it many people said this year had the most delays.
