Just cause Winslow hit a few 3's at home don't mean you can have hit camp out in the corner
Whiteside just setting screens all game and hardly got the ball and when he did magically he was getting foul and hitting his free throws.

Whiteside with only 6 shot attempt but he got to the line 11 times
Winslow 0-4 from 3 & Richardson 0-3 both looked like rookies tonight & both had the worst +/-
Winslow -26 & Richardson -22

Wade was just coming down forcing up shots not running any offense complaining about not getting calls and leaving his team having to play 4 on 5. Spo has got to call his ass out for those type of mistake

Wade is the captain and the team follows his lead and the tone was if we lose it doesnt matter long as we win the next game. They didn't come to play i don't want to hear my leader saying that. .

16 points in the second and only 14 in the third no adjustment from Spo whatsoever

I'm just disappointed with the loss if they played a hard fought game and loss i can say ok Charlotte won i feel like when they got down they just said fukk it we will see them next game and didn't play with max energy and effort
We've been feeding or trying to feed Hassan all game. At some point you gotta credit Charlotte for denying Hassan easy entry passes. Winslow has more FG attempts because Charlotte let Winslow get his, and let him open a couple of times from deep. That's just good defense from Charlotte rather than Spo drawing plays for Winslow and neglecting Whiteside. Charlotte has 48 wins folks....

Winslow getting overrated on his defensive capabilities is what can hurt us similiar to when Haslem was getting playtime because of his defense. Difference being Haslem at his best would consistently knock down that baseline jumpshot off the pick & roll and we could rely off that. Winslow has yet to garner that type of respect. The objective first and foremost before anything else is to put points on the board. If he can't hit that jumpshot 5/10 times when it's being given to him wide open, he becomes a liability. As does anyone else. Defense or no defense.

These nikkas really think that type of shooting is sustainable. Even Golden State haven't been playing that well. :heh:

We saw the regression to the mean tonight. Blowout despite Kemba shooting like complete shyt and no Batum. This series is far from over

Heat fans better put some respeck on the Hornets name

We gonna act like Charlotte didn't set an all-time playoff low for turnovers in this game?

:usure:

3 turnovers all game and no easy buckets for Miami. We'll see what how they fair in Game4. We'll see..

that's why spo has to think about getting green some burn. charlotte will have no choice to but respect his shot.

You say this like Charlotte isn't the best team in the league at not turning the ball over.

Like Charlotte hasn't been the best team in the league at protecting the ball for the last three years.

The only thing strange about this series is how well Miami has been shooting. Our own shooting from 3 has been curved entirely, but Spo's gameplan has made it clear that he's content with catching the hibachi from Lin and Kemba instead of letting us continue our normal 3pt heavy offense - and that's keeping us chilling at the line all game long.

I hope yal understand every team in the playoffs is cool to let Deng and Green try and win a series from the 3pt line.
green can easily black out and drop 20 in a half. I don't see the hornets leaving him open for long if he's hot. but all in all, i'm not trippin much. if we were gonna lose 1, this was the game I expected to drop. next time will go down to the wire wether we make a change or not.

Green doesn't play for the same reasons Lamb doesn't

Neither team should be that desperate.

And Miami's been CONSISTENTLY scoring 100+ points since the All-Star break. Most of people's opinions on Miami's offense inabilities are based on the 1st half of the season. It's not like the 1st two games were that much of an anomaly for Miami. Maybe our 3-point shooting was better than usual, but Miami's consistently been putting up 105+ since February. Josh Richardson in particular has been the best 3-point shooter in the league since Feb, and Deng's been a solid scorer consistently at the 4 since Feb. Everyone's opinion on Miami's offense should've been changed since Feb, yet coming into this game all I've heard is "Miami's offense is not as good as what they've shown in Games 1 and 2" as if Miami's offense REALLY hasn't been that good, when in reality it's been that good for most of 2016. Miami could easily have a repeat of Game 2, with a few adjustments. Whether it be more minutes for McRoberts, or Green getting hot for a couple of quarters. Miami in two games vs GS put up 100 points.

That's where the word DEPTH comes in. We're not expecting Green to save us time and again. We just need Green to get good minutes for one game, and someone else have a good game for one game, and someone else have a good game for one game. Miami's been putting up 100+ for the better part of 2016, and It's a 2-1 series at the end of the day. Obviously SOME things Miami has done has worked thus far. One loss, and "Miami doesn't have an answer for Kaminsky", "Green can't save Miami against Charlotte", "Deng won't ever hit another 3 in the playoffs again", "Winslow isn't a good defender", as a Heat fan I've seen this team win and lose sooooooooo many tough playoff games. No overreaction from me and my side...

nikka you are talking around completely unrealistic and unsustainable shooting like you getting paid for it :heh:

yal were shooting damn near 60% on CONTESTED shots over these two games :mjlol: if we lost a series with yal having the GOAT shooting performance for a playoff team, i wouldn't have even complained about it - just chalked it up to a gypsy curse or something

but since that isn't the case, we got an actual series where its now on miami to make the adjustments

and 'make sure deng stays hot' doesn't really add up. at least it shouldn't :patrice:

Depth ain't the problem. Yal offense is gimped - and the shooting has completely masked that

playing Green isn't gonna suddenly get Whiteside more touches.

Regardless of Miami's shooting percentage, Miami's been putting up 100+ for most of 2016. There's a difference between getting hot, and just finding good shots and moving the ball. Maybe we cool down from three, but improve from inside the arc. Miami shot bad from within the arc tonight also. Defensively Miami struggled tonight also. Miami's been one of the best offensive teams in the league since Feb. The only repeat I see for Miami in Game 4, is our turnovers. We've been a horrible turnover team all season, and I can easily see us coughing the ball up a whole bunch in Game 4, which will give Charlotte easy transition 3's. But then again, Miam's a pretty good 3-point shooting defense. At some point, folks gotta stop calling Miami's positives an anomaly, when MUCH of what Miami has done thus far, they've been doing for the better half of the 2nd half of the season. Miami knows how to scores in bunches. We cooled down tonight, and I don't expect a 3-point shooting clinic like we had in game 1, but Deng at the 4 has given teams problems(including Charlotte) all year. Deng with 15-20pts is every bit as realistic as Kaminsky coming to life and giving Hassan problems again. And we just need Whiteside to stay the course and take advantage of mismatches when they are presented to him. We don't need him being Shaq downlow. He has a streaky post-game, and I won't expect him to Kill Charlotte on the offensive end all series. As long as he keeps protecting the paint, and grabbing offensive and defensive boards, he's done a good job. Thus far it's 2-1, and we've seen Miami get 100, more than Charlotte has kept us from 100.
