Breh...I remember the Cavs played the hornets in the regular season...frank was shattin on the Cavs ...they had no answer for a while...but Lue figured out the matchup and we handled biz...he can be contained but I better matchup with him or he can fukk shyt up(I'm not saying fear him, but he needs attention...hornets won by 20, a good part due to him.

I been saying the shyt since game 2, if whiteside isn't the best player in the series on both ends - heat lose. miami cannot play any kind of defense without him playing completely locked in

on offense, he controls miami's pace
on defense, he's the ONLY rim protector

all our moves are to make him work harder, lose focus, or sit.

Just cause Winslow hit a few 3's at home don't mean you can have hit camp out in the corner
Whiteside just setting screens all game and hardly got the ball and when he did magically he was getting foul and hitting his free throws.

Whiteside with only 6 shot attempt but he got to the line 11 times
Winslow 0-4 from 3 & Richardson 0-3 both looked like rookies tonight & both had the worst +/-

Wade was just coming down forcing up shots not running any offense complaining about not getting calls and leaving his team having to play 4 on 5. Spo has got to call his ass out for those type of mistake

Wade is the captain and the team follows his lead and the tone was if we lose it doesnt mater long as we win the next game. They didn't come to play i don't want to hear my leader saying that. .

16 points in the second and only 14 in the third no adjustment from Spo whatsoever

Spo helped LBJ accept the concept of small-ball, and helped LBJ improve as a shooter. And I saw that neg you gave me. Are you a Cavs fan?

Fam, I watched more than 50 games of Heat basketball this season. Winslow isn't great at defending the 4. He doesn't have the length nor strength to guard a front-court player. He is a great defender but he had no business guarding a 7 foot player, especially when we were not far behind to reduce the Hornets' lead. Guarding a big man is not Winslow's specialty.

Winslow getting overrated on his defensive capabilities is what can hurt us similiar to when Haslem was getting playtime because of his defense. Difference being Haslem at his best would consistently knock down that baseline jumpshot off the pick & roll and we could rely off that. Winslow has yet to garner that type of respect. The objective first and foremost before anything else is to put points on the board. If he can't hit that jumpshot 5/10 times when it's being given to him wide open, he becomes a liability. As does anyone else. Defense or no defense.

It's not like Wade and the guards didn't try to feed Whiteside, Charlotte just did a great job of monitoring Whiteside and making those entry passes tough.

It's corny how you guys attribute everything to LeBron. LeBron won championships himself, LeBron won 27 games in a row himself. All Heat fans appreciate the success we had over those 4 years, as a team. They rarely have him guarding 7 footers like that, in the block which is what caught me off guard. I usually see him do it with Whiteside who tends to eat off of that help defense because Winslow typically keeps his hands low and ready to strip.

Literally, a couple of possessions before that we saw Winslow and Wade individually contest and stop Frank on an island. I'm not saying it was the right move or that I agree, I'm just saying I see what Spo was thinking and why he had a little too much faith in Winslow.
