This is my whole thing. People on here will post up all day...
... but then say they just like to keep their thoughts to themselves, don't feel the need to say what's on their mind, etc.
Y'all not foolin' anyone. You're shy. You're free and open on here because the "intimidation" factor is low because no one can see/knows you. In real life when these factors do apply, you're quiet because of your circumstances, not because you want to be..
Some people are just extremely introverted and don't care to make meaningless small talk with annoying, loud ass people on a daily basis.
Talking online is preferred because it's not loud. You can find like-minded individuals like yourself and find topics that you actually care about, rather than force yourself to participate in the meaningless crap people say to each other just for the sake of speaking.

When I'm quiet it's not cuz I'm shy, it's cuz I'm arrogant. I often ask myself before speaking "Are these people around me worthy to hear my thoughts and opinions?" If I'm in a room full of chickenheads and ig'nant nikkas the answer is no and I will be at my most quiet.

If you wren't so shy, you'd be less focused on what other people were talking about and how it annoyed you, and more focused on how you can direct and lead the conversation/dialogue yourself with the topics you want rather than passively thinking to yourself.

I refuse to talk to my cac co-workers discuss the Office and Dr. Who and whatever else lame tv shows and I have nothing in common with the Asian geeks in my classes. Not afraid or bashful of anyone.
