To be fair they’ve been cases of women harming each other. Outta of jealousy because of another woman’s looks and access to men.
Male jealousy is way worse than female jealousy 
And men definitely hate random men they don’t know for jealous reasons
Men tend to justify their jealousy by chalking not up to “nature” and “competition” or trying to find a way to say the dude he jealous of disrespected him so he can be jealous but call it something else

Women hate in a myriad of ways. Ostracization, disfiguring their looks, rumours of their sexual history and straight up bullying. Ask a woman about their teen years. They'll have some stories to tell.

Women are haters when it comes to stuff like relationships, looks, popularity, a man (which goes back to relationships), etc.
I say popularity because every woman thinks she's a...excuse my language, “bad bytch”, there are women on Facebook every day I come across some variation of them talking or sending subliminals about Can't none of you bytches stand next to me, or remember who put you bytches on, or boasting about how much dudes (including men in relationships) want them more and be up in their inboxes, etc.
Men are haters when it comes to money, women, job position, and just generally being an a$$hole, matter of fact men like to act tough around other dudes for no real reason. I'm pretty sure at some point in our lives; we've all encountered dudes who walk past us daily, trying to flex, walk a certain “bop,” trying to read, and stare us down when we're not paying them any mind

So it all depends on the context as to how and why the hating is occurring.

Women tend to be better at making friendships as they get older, spotting important social dynamics in a group etc. However, they're also more susceptible to things such as social pressure etc. And they are ACUTELY aware of things like social status and are constantly trying to sort out where they fit in their social hierarchy.
And as we all know, comparison is the precursor of envy and envy is the key ingredient of hating.
