Yes, it is away and by far the most impactful diss track ever made, and we'll never see anything like it ever again. We can debate whether its lyrics are a substantive as ether's, but if the main goal of your diss track is to humiliate your opponent, then there is nothing better than a song calling them a pedophile becoming one of the biggest hip-hop songs ever. I mean Drake sued for defamation

It stands alone at the top
Yep, not to mention the excellent performance Kendrick had on that song :wow:

Nah... we saw the organic impact it had immediately. As soon as it dropped, we saw people instantly singing that song everywhere.

In this case, the song only started trending on social media after it was already a smash hit in the streets.

Shut the fukk up. "The streets" :russ:

It premiered online and took off immediately. Then it made it's way to "the streets"

Let’s use Hit Em Up for example

HEU wasn’t meant to be a pop song…it became one
Not Like Us was intended to be a pop song…which is fine!
HEU had every reason not to be played on the East Coast yet it was
Not Like Us wasn’t put out in that type of market place
HEU has endured for 30 years
Let’s see what the legacy of Not Like Us is
HEU had a memorable video
Not Like Us had a video

It’s still Hit Em Up

NLU has been the best and biggest diss song. Haters must be fuming that this song became an instant phenomenon, without any ressource, and before it even took over social media :wow:
Exactly.

You can't deny it musically because it's objectively flawless as a piece of music.
You can't deny it numbers wise because it's one of the biggest songs of all time, in any genre.
You can't deny it impact wise because...you know...:pachaha:

Y'all got those songs too high because they're old. Not Like Us BEEN surpassed Ether

And if we're taking this all the way Meet The Grahams is over those songs too. Not Like Us gets all the attention but Drake ain't been the same since Meet The Grahams

Some of y’all are tripping lol. Not Like Us was organic as hell… streamers and everyone were calling it a win for Kendrick right after it dropped, before any major push. Stop lying.

Even Drake’s boy Kai and AK were going crazy when Not Like Us dropped.
Spliz must be mad, he thinks we can't see through his MAGA bullshyt:russ:

nikkas shytted on Drake(rightfully so) regardless of his numbers and reach for years but when it’s Kendrick it’s suddenly a signal of quality. This site is a fukkin joke. Lol
This situation is different because we’ve never seen a diss track reach this level of mainstream dominance. Diss songs usually stay within hip hop circles, even when they’re massive. Ether and even Back to Back were huge, but they weren’t inescapable global hits. Not Like Us is different, it’s playing in clubs, at sporting events, and on the radio like a regular chart topping anthem. It’s become a cultural phenomenon, not just a rap beef moment.

The embarrassment isn’t just in the pedo lyrics, it’s in the fact that the entire world, not just hip hop fans are dancing to a song tearing Drake apart. It’s an unprecedented level of public humiliation, where the diss isn’t just acknowledged, but celebrated on a massive worldwide scale. No rapper has ever had to deal with a diss song being this universally embraced.
