I think it's good. They're starting to throw some fukkery into it and make it more outlandish. Not sure how I feel about that, honestly.

Flash is good. Can't get into Arrow. That's not Ollie. That's a Batman ripoff.

:yeshrug: I like it. Don't know where all these dudes calling it trash came from. The official thread was doing decent numbers I thought.

These long as breaks in between eps tho. You would think the season was over :shaq2:

I happen to like the fukkery of Gotham. It is a wacky show that can sometimes lose its way but is also capable of some really good TV. It is also one of the more original TV shows in terms of look and feel.
Plus I enjoy watching all the fanboys lose their minds because it doesn't follow strict Batman history.

Might be bushes without a season 2 time jump and some serious re-focusing. Not sure how I feel about so many villains having 15-20 years on Bruce either.

Never cared for it. Tried and it just bored me because there are no stakes to it; Batman isn't there and we all know what's gonna happen to the characters already;
No we don't. They can do anything they want to pretty much anyone on that show aside from Lil Bruce and Jim Gordon.
This is an alternative telling of these characters stories and considering one of the gripes people have is how the origins are so different from what they know/expect, then I don't see how you can assume there are no stakes because of the show being filled with sacred cows.

Well I gave Walking Dead a second chance (and it still failed) so I'll be fair and give this show a second chance

I was hyped for it when it was announced but I've yet to watch a single episode of the show and don't have the urge to do so :patrice:

They should revamp the show and make it more like New York undercover. :yes:

Have one main villian per season and each episode have miscellaneous offenders being caught throughout the season each week getting closer to the villian for the season finale.

Plus the show feels to "done up" doesn't feel gritty enough to me.

You could still include bruce but it should be no more than 15 min of him every episode and have him going thru a lesson or something that teaches him how to become a better man each season.

I thought it would be cool if they had gotham PD trying to catch an online predator, a man organizing sex trafficking, a daycare kidnapping children, etc etc that would eventually lead to somebody like toy man at the end of the season.

You could still have cameos from potential villains but I wouldn't make it so damn obvious.

Show sucks :yeshrug:

I agree. I thought they had something really good going with The Penguin and even Scarecrow but its just not focused at all. A whole season fighting the Penguin and his rise in power with a couple of minor subplots would've been perfect for season 1:noah: Its almost literally been a different genre or a completely different show from one week to the next. Plus with big network television, do they always need 24 episodes in a season:dahell:. Could've made the Penguin the new Joker and go all in with him, get focused and serious, cut the goofy sh*t and trim that sh*t to 12-14 meaningful episodes, up the stakes :smugbiden:
