Has anyone else given up on Gotham?

I gave up. Its all over the place. Its just a bad show. If it wasnt based on batman lore nobody would be giving it as many chances as they have.

Gave up after the first episode. That Joker tease turned me off from ever going back and giving it another chance. Arrow is a better Batman show than Gotham is

its good they just take really big ass breaks between airing episodes and that's a problem

They should revamp the show and make it more like New York undercover.

Have one main villian per season and each episode have miscellaneous offenders being caught throughout the season each week getting closer to the villian for the season finale.

Plus the show feels to "done up" doesn't feel gritty enough to me.

You could still include bruce but it should be no more than 15 min of him every episode and have him going thru a lesson or something that teaches him how to become a better man each season.

I thought it would be cool if they had gotham PD trying to catch an online predator, a man organizing sex trafficking, a daycare kidnapping children, etc etc that would eventually lead to somebody like toy man at the end of the season.

You could still have cameos from potential villains but I wouldn't make it so damn obvious.

I guess I'm in the minority here but I like Gotham. It picked up after the first couple of episodes and has been steady since. Plus to be real with you Arrow hasn't been all that great this season. Besides the Flash crossover I've enjoyed Gotham a lot more than Arrow.

From the first episode it was clear this show was gonna be trash. Dozens of great characters origin stories to tell and somehow they managed to not make a single one of them even slightly interesting.

The majority of viewers of these types of generic network TV drama's usually don't know any better so i'm sure it will continue to get good ratings and won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

Consider the CW's history and it should be obvious

Think about Buffy, Smallville, Angel, Supernatural, Charmed, Birds of Prey and it's almost like they had a decade head-start to practice and get it right.
