I don't see someone like Dan Quinn entertaining the shyt fest that is the Jaguars job. He have the flexibility to be more picky on his next job.

he left the legion of boom to go to Atlanta and dealt with historical choke jobs on defense, his demise wasn’t pretty. Dallas has a lot of young talent on defense and he will have say in adding more. He would probably want to go to a team that’s already been built up to a certain degree.

RIP John Madden...

Some of you are to young or wasn't born to remember these moments :wow:

RIP Madden. You and Summerall were the soundtrack of my high school years as a football fan. :wow:

Now you can be with Pat Summerall in heaven to call the Cowboys first NFC Championship game

For people who keep shytting on Mike McCarthy, I would like to point to one of the most important aspects of his arrival that gets overlooked. For how well the defense is playing, simply look to the last 2 drafts under Garrett compared to the first 2 drafts under McCarthy. Notice the players in Red. 2 drafts a piece under both coaches. McCarthy has 9 players that are either starting or are part of a rotation with a lot of snaps per game. Garrett only has 3.

2018

LB Leighton Vander Esch - basically a bust. doubt he returns
G Connor Williams - up and down, was benched earlier this year. isn't reliable
WR Michael Gallup - On offense. Probably won't come back
DE Dorance Armstrong - in the rotation. gets limited snaps
TE Dalton Schultz - When he has become the best pick in the draft something is wrong with your draft. And he will probably walk in free agency. And the only reason why he's playing is because Jarwin can't stay healthy.
QB Mike White - wasted pick. No longer on the team
LB Chris Covington - No longer on the team.
WR Cedrick Wilson - Solid 3rd or 4th WR on the team. Will probably replace Gallup.
RB Bo Scarbrough - No longer on the team.

2019

Trysten Hill, DT, UCF - So far a bust. Can't stay healthy...
Connor Mcgovern, G, Penn State - Another offensive linemen that's inconsistent, not reliable. First they pick Connor Williams, and now both of them are meh at best.
Tony Pollard, RB, Memphis - Best pick in the draft is a backup running back.
Michael Jackson, CB, Miami (Fla.) - wasted pick. no longer on the team.
Joe Jackson, DE, Miami (Fla.) - wasted pick. no longer on the team.
Donovan Wilson, S, Texas A&M - backup/special teams player at this point.
Mike Weber, RB, Ohio State - wasted pick. no longer on the team.
Jalen Jelks, Edge, Oregon - no longer on the team.

Defense is meh, and they use 2 draft picks on a running back? :mjpls:

2020 - McCarthy's first draft.

WR CeeDee Lamb, Oklahoma - Starter. rising star
CB Trevon Diggs, Alabama - all pro corner
DT Neville Gallimore, Oklahoma - One of the key linemen on defense. rising star
CB Reggie Robinson II, Tulsa - meh
C Tyler Biadasz, Wisconsin - starting center
DE Bradlee Anae, Utah - Made too many mistakes on special teams and was cut after week 8 this year.
QB Ben DiNucci, James Madison - :unimpressed:

2021

LB Micah Parsons - All pro
CB Kelvin Joseph - future starter
DT Osa Odighizuwa - immediate impact on the defensive line
DE Chauncey Golston - is in the defensive line rotation
CB Nahshon Wright
LB Jabril Cox - Was one of the reasons Dallas cut Jaylon Smith. Future starter
T Josh Ball - on IR
WR Simi Fehoko - meh
DT Quinton Bohanna - starting to get reps on the defensive line
CB Israel Mukuamu - he not ready. special teams player
G Matt Farniok - backup

Obviously he didnt mention him by name, but he said this regarding who the best CB in the league is right now…

shyt is corny, considering someone like Darius Slay (who is in our division) was giving Trev props on getting 11 picks

Ramsey still a top 3 CB, breh needs to stay off the estrogen and travel with the #1 WR for more than two games.

Diggs retweeted his tweet too on some :troll: shyt.

Atlanta got a good owner tho. He took them to the Super Bowl. I'd consider that a success despite what happened in the game.

mid you check his coaching history he doesn’t stay in one place for a long time. The Atlanta gig was his longest, and they was because he was the head coach. So history shows even if he stays beyond this season, it won’t be for long.

After they drafted Gallup, they traded a first round pick for Cooper, then used another one on Lamb. Gallup is the third best WR, and probably won’t be in Dallas next year. Connor Williams is the starter by default. He even got benched this year for McGovern, who also is mediocre. I will give you Dorance Armstrong as he is starting to get more reps this year. The jury is still out on both Wilson’s. The WR could be the third wideout next year.

Either way, McCarthys first 2 drafts netted more impactful players than Garrett’s last two.

I see your point but your selling quite a few players short...namely

Gallup- He produced and will get the bag from some team this off-season
Shultz- See above....and he can block better than Jarwin. Best ability is availability.
Armstrong- He's a starter on at least 50% of NFL teams
Donovan Wilson- When in the starting lineup he's a TO machine and brings the wood. Injuries robbed him this year.
Trysten Hill- He has potential and can be a force. Book is still out on him.

I'm not even gonna discuss Ceddy, or the Connors because your way off base

This list looks like you hate Garrett which is understandable but do realize Will McClay, Stephen Jones and Jerry hold the cards on draft day....not McCarthy or The Clapper.

Do you know how many teams wish they had a draft class like this the last 4 years?....

Extremely lowest of low keys.. I can see how some of those Penn State allegations may have possibly, potentially had some tiny sliver of validity:hubie:

He definitely got an alpha bully mentality about him which is what this team has been sorely lacking. :manny:

Arod is not gonna give this defense 2-3 turnovers which is gonna put more pressure on the offense to score TDs and not settle for Field Goals

3rd down conversions are the key.

We don't necessarily need turnovers. Just a disciplined pass rush and 3rd down stops to give the offense more chances. First time in a long time where we have a very good offense BUT the defense is potentially better.
