Should've kept MarJon and waived Patty Mills. Happy for Miller, he's got to shoot that jumper this time around. He lost confidence in it during those early games in the season when he was with the main team. Hell of an opportunity for him with the 2nd unit playing like sh*t.

So we waived Kai Jones, Mo Bamba is out of the league, and Lue doesn't trust Eubanks and didn't play him against the shorter Lakers last night?? And we let Moussa walk. :unimpressed:

Still dont know what to make of this team. Once Norm is back we'll see

But losing to Lakers on a back to back is kind of embarrassing

Norm is re-injured, Harden is beyond gassed, and it looks like all of our trade deadline-buyout moves are total and complete busts. Kawhi looking like the old Kawhi was the only positive last night. I don't know fellas. Are we still in "win now" mode with an aging injury prone core? My new theory is this, might be time to move on from Harden in the off season. He's been great for us and carried us a ton early in the season, but the slowed down-walk the ball up-dribble the shot clock out-hold on to the ball offense only benefits him, Norm, and Zu. There's no easy buckets, no fast breaks, no pace, no tempo.. a little bit of chaos even helps a little bit. Right now its just a slog of a grind. We can't even develop or gauge the progress or lack there of with the youth because its hard for them to show anything in "The System" offense. Mann couldn't play in it either. Houston Harden was twice as fast, crazy first step, pushed the pace, and still put up 30-40 a night.

Kai Jones being waived but Eubanks staying is the prime example of this. Not saying Kai Jones had next, but Eubanks is a safe player who looks serviceable under Harden's system, but yet doesn't move the needle one bit for the team. Some might even say he's a bad player. Kai was definitely better than Eubanks and that's not saying much at all, but if we're going to just stay competitive until more money frees up or we get our picks back, go get a young uptempo point guard. A guard that pushes the pace, makes the extra pass, can hit the open three, and get other involved. Then I can see if Kobe, Miller, Cam Christie, Flowers, etc. have something or not. Miller & Kobe got a few minutes in last night but Harden just held/dribbled the ball the entire time and that was it.

Simmons is now supposedly day to day. Buyout players generally suck, lets move on from this Lawrence Frank. Bogdan is awful. Eubanks and Patty Mills are washed/not good. Beauchamp, who I thought had something to his game, waived. So we traded KPJ, Mann, and Bones for what exactly? Never seen every trade deadline move fall flat on its azz like this. The front office is cooked beyond belief. Everybody ripping Nico Harrison, but Lawrence Frank is right behind him. No direction, no plan, just throwing sh*t against the wall and praying something sticks. If we're going to be a play in team, get a point guard and start running up and down the floor. At worst its an entertaining team to watch.

He's no star player, but he's good when the game is moving and up tempo. Sh*t bro, we traded him for Bogdan and he's been awful. Mann at least played defense. Lue is playing a guy going 1-14 from three and not playing defense. But forget Mann, the real loss is KPJ. It was odd asf to play him that many minutes with the 2nd unit then cut the plug and trade him because they knew Ben Simmons was going to be available. And now Ben Simmons is day to day plus he hasn't looked good his last couple of outings. Him not shooting with the rest of the bench is ice cold isn't going to work. I don't see him being brought back next season.

Mann at least played defense.

Not really…not much at all :why:

Mann ran around with fidgety feet and got caught trying to blow up screens too much. He’s the typical semi athletic 6’5 guy who can’t be relied on to score so they just call a defender

Did you see the Lakers game Friday? Kris Dunn was a man possessed on the defensive end. Steals, tipped passes, hustle, defending Bron

He was all over the place and on top of that he wasn’t playing hesitant on the offensive end.

Kris Dunn is much better than Terrance Mann ever was :russ:

You’ve been really on this kick lately championing mediocre players like that would make a difference right now. Them guys never moved the needle

Career Zu year
Career Norm year
Upper echelon defense

What this team is missing is Superstar Kawhi. If he’s done then so be it but let’s not act like Maboussa, The woman beater, Boston, Mann etc would make things any better

All them guys are fringe NBA players until further notice

Mann would still be here if he wasn't scared to shoot. He had plenty of opportunity to secure his spot on the roster and he couldn't. They needed to get off his money.

The team is also not going to go full rebuild without their picks.
