If you play a FPS that's 60fps for a while, and then switch to a game that's 30fps you will notice the difference immediately. I will never understand how it's possible for people NOT to be able to tell the difference in a FPS. That's the one thing I hate about Destiny is that it's 30fps... especially with how the multiplayer is. You feel like a tank at times when trying to turn around or track someone who's above or below you. That wouldn't be the case if the game were 60fps. Tracking moving targets is much easier with double the framerate.
I remember playing TLoU remastered for the first time. Anyone saying they can't see the difference between 30 and 60 is lying or hasn't seen a game in 60fps

I won't make the same mistake I did with halo reach, it's not enough to cop a one atm. And hopefully this isn't another MCC like launch

Halo 5 Guardians Final Resolution Not Yet Locked, eSRAM Not an Issue, Campaign Runs at 60fps
Executive producer Chris Lee says the resolution will be discussed more in the future.

343 Industries’ Halo 5: Guardians is one of the most anticipated titles of the year and will herald the first truly next gen Halo title for the Xbox One. It still has a ways to go in development though, especially when it comes to the resolution.

GamingBolt spoke to lead producer Chris Lee about the campaign and multiplayer. Will both modes run at 60 FPS? According to Lee, they indeed will.

However, when asked if the resolution would be at 1080p, Lee stated that, “So, we’re still optimizing the game as we haven’t launched so we haven’t locked in our final resolution yet. But we will talk more about that in the future.”

On whether the Xbox One’s eSRAM was causing problems with programming, especially since many developers have expressed their concerns with the memory, Lee said that, “It didn’t cause any issues for us.”

It’s obvious that there’s still a fair bit of optimization left before the release of Halo 5: Guardians in October so keep the hope alive. Also let us know what you think of the game’s resolution and frame rate in the comments.

Houston to LA like I'm Robert Horry.
This game has gotten a lot of heat the past couple of days for taking out split screen. Personally I don't use split screen that often anymore, but I can understand why there are a lot of people upset.

343 better figure out a way to add it in after the game is released or something. These nikkas just love shooting themselves in the foot with their fans :snoop:

TLOU:Remastered lets you switch the framerate to 30 as well. Try going back down to 30 and you'll see the difference even while scrolling through the menus

Halo 5 Dev Warns Against Rushing Through the Game
"If you take it slow and look and explore, you're going to find all these rich character and world details."

The world of Halo 5: Guardians is stuffed with character and world details outside of the main story campaign, but rush through the game and you might miss them. That's the message 343 Industries shared with fans today at Comic-Con during a panel dedicated to storytelling for the upcoming Xbox One shooter.

"If you like our story, you'll definitely want to take this one slow," narrative designer Morgan Lockhart explained. "You won't want to rush through it."

She went on to describe Halo 5's story as one that has numerous layers.

"We definitely approached this story as a story of layers," she said. "So there's the high level that you're always going to see that's going to be the driving story that you need to understand to appreciate the game. But then there's a lot of narrative that you won't find if you rush through it. But if you take it slow and look and explore, you're going to find all these rich character and world details."

Lockhart went on to tease that Halo 5's story will deal with many "deeper questions" players might have about the Halo universe. This includes "controversial" topics such as the SPARTAN-II program and theSangheili Civil War.

Halo 5's story will also be deeper and more involved than past entries in the series simply because the game has more main characters by virtue of Blue Team and Fireteam Osiris. These are the two soldier squads of four led by Master Chief and Agent Locke respectively in the game's campaign.

"By having these unique voices, we're able to offer different perspectives and opinions, and our characters are able to argue, or find places to agree about these really big questions," Lockhart said.

Halo 5 launches October 27 for Xbox One. Also today at Comic-Con, 343 responded to concerns about the fact that the $250 Halo 5 Limited Collector's Edition does not come with a physical disc.

This is one of those examples where I say 60fps has drawbacks. People think 60fps is just a a simple switch where just making something "less pretty" equals smooth 60fps. Look at this.
