No it's not breh. If anything this E3 may make the gap even worse. Only area where Xbox has a chance to maybe catch the PS4 is here, but they keep getting outsold every month until a month or 2 during the holiday.

I posted evidence saying otherwise. Framerate issues exist on both. Don't cherry pick the article. The fact that the Larry can't even run a measly 900p at a steady 30 is pathetic. Can't be equal running at a lower resolution.

Halo 5 Microtransactions are a good thing
When 343i announced the addition of microtransactions to Halo 5: Guardians, plenty of people took to the internet in disgust. The negative publicity was so great in fact, that 343i actually had to step in and write a post to explain what was going on.
In Halo 5, there is a currency called REQ points which will be earned within multiplayer matches. It essentially replaces the credits option in previous games. This allows the player to buy REQ packs, which contain a variety of weapons, skins, armor and other goodies. I know exactly what you’re thinking, “What the hell are they doing? There’s no way I’m paying! It will ruin the game balance!” Well actually, there’s plenty of positives to this announcement if you put your fanboy rage aside and think about it.
Firstly, these packs are available for free to players who want to play the game normally. So there’s no need to worry about any ugly paywalls. Secondly, consider for a moment that all those impatient 12-year-old kids are the ones helping us get free DLC. 343i announced that all future maps will cost nothing. Questions were asked on how they would fund the added content. Well, now those questions have been answered.
Secondly, its safe to say that the REQ packs will be somewhat random, adding a unique RNG element to the game as players search for those rare items. I think it’s highly unlikely that 343i will allow players to buy specific items and weapons with the actual currency, as there is a slight balancing issue there. Looking at how current freemium models work on mobile, it could be that players who use real cash are offered pre-determined bundle packs. This leaves those who play the game normally more freedom to pick specific weapons that they wish to save up for. 343i can easily seal off the most powerful weapons and armour by simply stopping you from purchasing them.
Thridly, the balancing issue isn’t even that much of an issue anyway because it only applied to unranked matches. Arena gametypes and ranked games will have predetermined loadouts and armour, giving everyone an even playing field. Gametypes like warzone and big team battle are only supposed to be a bit of fun anyway, so if you’re worried about someone starting with an OP rocket launcher at spawntime, you’re playing the wrong gametype! Besides this, 343i has assured us that a balancing system will be in place to make sure they can’t be abused by pay-to-win players.
Lastly, “a portion of the proceeds” from purchased REQ points will go toward prize pools offered in the Halo Championship Series. If die-hard Halo fans ever want to see the game taken seriously in eSports again, then this is a big coup for getting people to play the game again. It’s a nice touch from an under-pressure developer.
Hopefully this clears a few things up, as I will admit the news worried me at first too. Still, when you think about it a little deeper, it suddenly doesn’t seem so bad after all. Oh… and FREE maps. Did I mention that?
