I don't remember 2009 being that memorable. I haven't watch it since it came out though. Looks like it turned a profit and the sequel got shelved because of legal shyt so you're right it didn't fail.

The trilogy went off the rails in Kills, let's be honest here.By making Michael into a superhuman presence instead of a slick serial killing human that knows just what to do to come out on top, you destroy the character. He's basically Jason now, shyt is stupid.
Halloween resurrection is an entirely different movie …. The “Michael still lives” gimmick was a plot device in resurrection to explain how they could make another movie ..that was NOT H20 canon …in H20 Michael is beheaded not some EMT
