Technically this wasn’t part of THIS movie, and I think it’s about time we appreciate that I’m about to just say she RIP’d Mike there in my head-canonH20 Michael with the timely mask switch right before the beheading bad???

how did it fail?Friday the 13th 2009 had failed.
It definitely will. Y'all mad now, but years from now with new viewers without built-up expectations will view this trilogy differently. Happens all the time. The Star Wars prequel trilogy being a good exampleI WILL guarantee it will not. 'Ends' made sure that years from now this will be looked as the PoS it is and always will be. Not going to romanticize this just because 'they dared explored a new idea' when the idea (let's leave out the STAR/SHAPE out for most of the movie as we explore the white-boy school-shooter trope) and execution (slow and too much filler to ... see prior explanation) was garbage.
least you didn't say the sequel trilogy. I hope to god that doesn't get second look as good...cause them shyts are garbage. It definitely will. The adults that grew up on the originals hated it the most. The teens and below who grew up with the prequels being their first Star Wars are adults now and they have been saying that the prequels weren't as bad as they have been made out to be. I think with the sequels being a OT love letter also shown people that the Prequels brought a lot of new and interesting things to Star Wars that is still around today.least you didn't say the sequel trilogy. I hope to god that doesn't get second look as good...cause them shyts are garbage.
I honestly never saw the PT hated all that much, outside a few die hards...thought it was generally liked even before the ST.
Doubt it. The Thorn trilogy got it's cult following after being hated when they released. Halloween 3 has been seen in a positive light in recent years. Resurrection was booty but you got people in here at the least praising Busta's roleNo it won't. The first one will be looked at as a good Halloween movie but kills and ends will be looked at as trash like countless other Halloween movies.
i guess time will tell...one flick I've never seen get revisionist praise is the nightmare remakeDoubt it. The Thorn trilogy got it's cult following after being hated when they released. I think as a whole it'll be fine. Sometimes watching movies back to back makes them better. Dark Knight Rises was amazing when I saw it in a marathon when it released, but watching it's own when the Blu-ray released was just okayi guess time will tell...one flick I've never seen get revisionist praise is the nightmare remake
seems damn near universal it was cheeks
This did not happen in H20just saw this
My wife liked it . ( but she has a psychology degree, go figure)
It was Meh to me, I honestly don't feel one way or another, not a bad movie , just not a good Halloween movie
I thought they added too much into one movie
basically the kids goes from normal kid, loner incel - potential school shooter, to master serial killer in 2 weeks
like they should have inserted the kids death in H2018
the bullying in H kills
then the aftermath and the bridge stuff in HEnds
Instead of doing this all at once
I read somewhere they had the idea for 2 movies but had to wait until the first ones response to get the green light for the sequel
then when 2018 dropped and was successful, they asked them to do a trilogy and it fukked everything up and we got these last 2
so these were basically last minute revisions to the original plan
Plus lets not ignore the fact that Mike was every day of 65 in this , sixty fukkin five ( maybe older)
This was basically father time being undefeated Mike, something a lot of people don't wanna see
but some filmmakers go there with characters and the fans don't like it.
that adrenaline and azz whuppin' energy from the last 2 films woulda been worn off
nikka needed dat serial killer Viagra
so for the people that just absolutely hated it.
how bad is it to you?
H3 no Michael in it, pumpkin mask devouring kids faces bad???
H5 Michael needed the jailbreak assist bad???
H6 Michael being the the father/great uncle of Jamie's child bad??? (its heavily implied)
H20 Michael with the timely mask switch right before the beheading bad???
Hres Busta Rhymes superkick Bad???
RZH2 wtf is the White horse in there for bad???
unfortunately it didThis did not happen in H20
