man they really fukked this series up, they got Mike looking like Shaq on the Celtics.
A horrible movie Halloween Ends is, I hated Halloween kills but man this shyt is 100 times worse.
Just stop remaking the classics for a quick payday if you not going to do them justice.

Whole trilogy was fire to me. 2018 was the sequel/reboot done right where Friday the 13th 2009 and Elm Street 2010 had failed.
Kills gave us carnage and Michael just wrecking shyt. Ends is a new spin on the Curse of Michael Myers/New Beginnings attempts to establish a new killer.

how did it fail?
it was one of the better reboots. Crammed 4ish movies into 1 in an efficientish matter.
Kills were decent...characters were cookie cutter, but Friday was never one for characters, outside Tommy Jarvis

It definitely will. Y'all mad now, but years from now with new viewers without built-up expectations will view this trilogy differently. Happens all the time. The Star Wars prequel trilogy being a good example

I honestly never saw the PT hated all that much, outside a few die hards...thought it was generally liked even before the ST.

The adults that grew up on the originals hated it the most. The teens and below who grew up with the prequels being their first Star Wars are adults now and they have been saying that the prequels weren't as bad as they have been made out to be. I think with the sequels being a OT love letter also shown people that the Prequels brought a lot of new and interesting things to Star Wars that is still around today.

Doubt it. The Thorn trilogy got it's cult following after being hated when they released. Halloween 3 has been seen in a positive light in recent years. Resurrection was booty but you got people in here at the least praising Busta's role

I think as a whole it'll be fine. Sometimes watching movies back to back makes them better. Dark Knight Rises was amazing when I saw it in a marathon when it released, but watching it's own when the Blu-ray released was just okayi guess time will tell...one flick I've never seen get revisionist praise is the nightmare remake

What’s next for the Halloween franchise? We got 3 timelines, 2 remakes, Mike fought Laurie 6 times, Laurie died 3 times, resurrection tried found footage/reality show, H3 tried being a anthology, and etc.

basically the kids goes from normal kid, loner incel - potential school shooter, to master serial killer in 2 weeks
like they should have inserted the kids death in H2018
the bullying in H kills
then the aftermath and the bridge stuff in HEnds

I read somewhere they had the idea for 2 movies but had to wait until the first ones response to get the green light for the sequel
then when 2018 dropped and was successful, they asked them to do a trilogy and it fukked everything up and we got these last 2
so these were basically last minute revisions to the original plan
Plus lets not ignore the fact thatMike was every day of 65 in this , sixty fukkin five ( maybe older)
This was basically father time being undefeated Mike, something a lot of people don't wanna see
but some filmmakers go there with characters and the fans don't like it.
