Didn't jamie foxx call her out and they made him fall back?
If someone does enough research, I am sure that you will find a clip somewhere predicting this broad's actions. I'll try to find the clip if can.

Jamie Foxx had some not-so-nice words for Miley Cyrus during his weekend Sirius radio show "The Foxxhole," judging by a audio posted on YouTube and heard below.

UPDATE: WATCH FOXX APOLOGIZE ON LENO

During a discussion criticizing Miley, 16, for being upset at not getting to meet Radiohead backstage at the Grammys, Foxx, 41, told her to get a gum transplant and to "make a sex tape and grow up... Get like Britney Spears and do some heroin... get some crack in your pipe... Catch chlamydia on a bicycle seat."

Someone else is heard calling her a "white bytch."

Foxx has a teenage daughter.

Really not what I thought it was, but he was damn near close to being a prophet on this one.

So coming off as a whore with no morals is black culture?

If that's the case then we have a bigger problem than Miley. :snoop::huhldup:

hmmmm.... i dont think that what Miley is doing is black culture tho.....

how exactly does one act black?

Yall aren't looking at it right. Of course it isn't actually Black culture. That's the point. She's acting like it is. She specifically said she wanted to do something that "feels Black," "urban," and connected to "the hood." Then she suddenly starts surrounding herself with Black people and singing and dancing in what she perceives to be a Black style. The whole idea is that she is perpetuating stereotypes about Black culture. That's why Black people are rightfully upset. She's using Black people and cultural elements (music, etc.) as accessories, in a way that distorts them into ridiculous, but tried and true caricatures of the kind Black people have been fighting forever.

In short, it's exactly the kind of thing minstrel show performers in Blackface, white jazz hipsters, beatniks, etc, did with Black folks. Yall want to play colorblind and say no, it's just generally trashy behavior, and we legitimize it by connecting it to Black people, but that completely ignores that she herself is presenting it as authentic Black identity.

A lot of you are being willfully ignorant.

Miley is parading around, using black people as props, treating them as toys by slapping them on the ass during performances while never acknowledging them outside of that, talking about having a black sound which coincidentally coincides with an obsession to twerking ... it's obvious what she's doing.

She pretty much is acting like this is what black is. And is it? Short answer, yes. Long answer, no. It isn't ALL that we are, but for people to sit and act like the Twerk Team wasn't doing this years ago to the chagrin of mainstream America. Hell, they didn't even receive recognition for it but when Miley does it its time to look at the scientific aspects of twerking.

And all of these black artists cosigning her are as much to blame. They'll place money before standing up for their culture and people.

All these rappers co-signing Miley Cyrus like they co-sign Eminem. They don't want to lose that CAC fan base.

What fanbase? This isn't Hannah Montana, the Disney creation they are co-signing. They are co-signing a Miley Cyrus whose last album bricked and was bigger as Hannah Montana than she is by being Miley Cyrus. Artists and producers are jumping on the Miley bandwagon for the same reasons she's on their's:

1) They see her as an easy outlet to crossover (producers who haven't had that crossover hit yet)

2) They see her as challenge. If they aid her in being successful, it strengthens their resume.

On the flipside, she benefits from being legitimized by Hip Hop as it's still a dominant influence. It's no different than what Gwen Stefani, Nelly Furtado, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, and Christina Aguilera did. They just weren't on stage making a fool out of themselves.

:comeon:

Are we really going to dumb down the conversation to this level and play stupid?

Miley Cyrus is CLEARLY making a very painfully obvious attempt at appropriating portions of african american youth culture...no the entirety of black culture doesn't revolve around "twerking 24/7" (not anymore than the entirety of specific latin cultures revolve around salsa music or sensual latin dances), but the segment that is...the segment that anybody in tuned enough with contemporary black youth culture to even spend a minute of their time posting in THIS forum is well familiar with...Miley is pretty shamelessly attempting to wear as a costume of "otherness" in a transparent effort to shed her Disney Channel image...it appears for anybody with an iota of sense, to be an concerted effort on the part of her (and her handlers) and the label in charge of her music

To her credit...or whatever credit you can assign to such things...she has flat out said as much

http://www.vibe.com/article/miley-cyrus-asked-black-sound-single-says-songwriters-rock-city

Im not playing stupid. Nobody can act "Black", "White", or "Latino", etc. The terminology people are using is illogical. She is just trying to associate/identify herself with a Black crowd/elements she think is "Black culture". Association and literally her trying to be something she is not are two different things. Besides her erratic behavior and her trying to associate herself with more Black folk, how is she trying to be "Black"? I just saw the link you have posted and it looks like she is trying to identify with more of a Black crowd and she is trying to make her music "sound Black" (to have more Black audience) in the process. Little does she know she is being ignorant and stupid.

But you guys could still reach on that "being black bs".
