I hate the tone of this show like what a weird way to tell her story.
Look how hard this woman has it trying to become a drug dealer.

Why they had to ugly Sofia up when they're taking liberties with the story anyway.
Griselda was a monster her whole time in America. She went through the victim/hardship phase when she was young, which created the dog in her.
One thing they're doing better than narcos so far ( I think I'm 2 episodes in) is making the cop stuff a side plot. Nobody tunes in to see some square wagey shyt.
This story would have been done better justice if it was done under the narcos banner though. They messed up not doing a couple seasons on the Medellin run in USA.

Story seems off compared to real life imo. Grinding my gears.
Castro sent Tony Montana and them over on the boats in 1980, but Griselda is still not the "Godmother" at this point. She was a 1st tier player among the columbians probably since the 60s, but they're making her look like an unknown peon to the cartel members.
Her story was actually lit, if you change it this much it just becomes a queen of the south type show.
