Does anyone disagree with this?

You can’t change the system without the votes. win some statewide elections
This is a mentality that helps no one in the south who have literally had their representation stripped by the scotus and gerrymandered so badly it’s damn near impossible to reverse it without direct federal intervention.

You dismiss other posters beliefs that good policy can change things but ur “vote harder” ideology isn’t going to so shyt for large swaths
Of the country due to the game being
Rigged

That’s great you completely ignored my point about your mindset involves abandoning large swaths of the population. Biden approval is in the tank due solely on bad policy but we should keep voting and putting neoliberals in office just because the republicans are evil
Monsters? That doesn’t benefit anyone

Like Orlando, and Tallahassee are two very progressive cities but fukk those people because Desantis barely fukking won a governors race and has spent 4 years rigging the game to solidify power?

It’s dumb stuff, we need to change course because the neoliberal policy set ain’t working and hasn’t worked in decades

Grab some guns and start a revolution if you don't agree with voting :Okayjack:

I'd say Biden's approval numbers are low mainly because of inflation and gas prices.

But what exact policies do you think Biden has the power to enact with Manchin/Sinema/The Filibuster/The Supreme Court in the way?

I mean it’s beyond that it’s shyt like this too and inflation and has prices aren’t even primarily driving his disapproval rating with young people. People are fed up with democrats treating republicans with kid gloves while simultaneously allowing them to strip people of their rights while not doing anything about. People want fighters and neoliberals are not fighters

Also why do people keep making fukking excuses for democrats poor planning and unwillingness to think outside the box to accomplish things the way republicans have despite never having the majority of the country behind them

Can't speak for anybody else, but I'm not making excuses...I legitimately want to know what Biden can actually do right now. :yeshrug:

Also you can't ignore that Republicans have structural advantages that Dems don't like the Electoral College and gerrymandering in their favor.

Republicans spent years putting structures in place and planning that everyone saw going on except the DNC apparently. Bro Sam Sedar has spent decades talking about this ahit and the democrats failures to even attempt to stop them. Everyone saw this coming and now we’re staring down the gun of fascism. Making excuses for these people are a waste of time

The entire “vote harder” argument kind of goes out the window when you realize we’re only here because of the ineptness of neoliberals. Like what reasons would people have to vote for a group of people that literally sat on their hands while we got here and did nothing to stop it. We should trust those people to fix these issues?????? Hell that’s the main basis for a new crop of bold younger progressive democrats.

I mean, I don't really disagree, but this still doesn't answer the question of what Biden has the power to do right now.

We’re here because young people and minorities don’t vote.

First of all black people vote heavy democrats. Second of all “POINTING AT THE LARGE SIGN WHERE WE JUST IGNORE HOW REPUBLICANS RIGGED THE VOTING SYSTEM”

Third of all yes it’s only the peoples faults who don’t have power and have seen their lives get drastically worse over the course of time under trump, Obama and bush. It’s all their faults not the democrats for failing to even to attempt to make life better for the majority of Americans
