That's why I don't see the point in them...

I mean, the 4k/60 promise probably won’t hold the rest of the gen…even with the upscaling methods is tough to get all that with decent ray tracing.

We’ll have to see once current gen games become more common. I dont see 120fps being a thing after this year

I couldn’t care less about ray tracing.
I hate that console gamers bought into the hype and I hate that devs even waste their time trying to shoe horn it into console games.

I agree ray tracing on console (and even most PC’s from what I’ve seen) just isn’t worth the performance sacrifice, its just not there yet. It doesn’t even matter for most games

Haven't looked to see if it's configurable yet, but noticed when I entered Race B in the new Super Formula this week it wasn't ghosting the Halo in VR. On a flat screen it's pretty much impossible to deal with a black block right in the middle of the screen so it makes sense to ghost it, but in VR you just cock your head and it's fine.

Feels like I'm getting the FULL driver experience now. Absolutely love this shyt.

I find it so much easier to guage where other cars are in VR compared to flat screen. I was routinely punting the AI off track before, but I'm driving much cleaner now that there's a sense of depth perception.

Maintained DR A for about 6 weeks now - pushing a DR A+ at the moment - my qualifying times still don't tend to put me at the front of the grid but I'm making up race positions all the time by mainly just not acting like a complete dikk. See two guys fighting ahead, let them fight, cruise on through.

8th or higher should mean DR is increasing no need to risk it all to turn 5th into 4th... slow and steady wins the race!

I generally avoid sport mode bc of the horror stories I hear about regarding a$$hole drivers.

There are plenty of them around but generally the racing is a bit better in DR A I've found - you've got to protect your SR with your life though. Don't get involved in fights - people that drive that way will usually screw themselves eventually anyway, just gotta be patient.

Very impressive. I've finally ventured onto Sport mode, and discovered the online time trials give up to 2 million credits. Took me like 10 minutes to get gold on Spa & the High Speed Ring. Come back today and saw that I'm now under the top 3%, and my time is only good enough for silver. Sucks but I'm too lazy to be anything beyond a silver driver :pachaha:

Yeah, the TTs are worth doing if you can nail them quickly - I'm the same, if I get Gold and it turns into a Silver I can never be bothered to give up a race to try again. Best to do them late tbh when there's less chance of the top time being improved much.

The cars/tyres they pick are often absolute hogs to get around too.

Yeah, I'm having a good few weeks at this shyt.

Checked this last night and I was the 10th fastest driver in the UK on the Race B qualifiers for the week.

Starting to think my G29 pedals were faultier than I even realised... feels like I'm driving with cheat codes now I've got working gear.
