This is def what happened. People reverse userbombed it because they wanted to prove that the audience enjoyed it far more than TLOU2

not really...it is about genghis khan/the mongols but imo they did the series a disservice by finding a way to tell it from a white man’s perspective...still managed to be a good show but the ratings didn’t justify how much the series cost to produce so they canceled it

It’ll go to the last of us 2 which is also my vote.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they gave it animal crossing because that game sold like crazy.

Ghost is fire but the mission structure is too repetitive.

Doom Eternal is amazing.

I’d be fine with Final Fantasy winning but I’m not sure how much of my nostalgia bumps up the score. I freakin love that game though.

Hades is dope but I don’t think it merits being on the list next to those other games. It’s very fun, but when I think of game of the year I’m looking for a game that rises above the rest and pushes boundaries. I just don’t see a rogue game like that having the depth of the other games on the list. I’m not knocking it. I enjoy it. But to me, it doesn’t belong up there.

Ghosts is not a deep game no matter how you cut it. FF7R was some of the most fun I've had in a game this year but I can't ignore how dull the bad sections were. Doom Eternal was cool but the fact they can't get a multiplayer mode to match the singleplayer's quality will always stand out to me.
