Very unfortunate experience for that dude. His date was a POS for using his trauma against him, but at the same time, she did him and herself a favor by doing it. Obviously, dude isn't ready to date until he seek therapy and deal with his issues...
This story reminded me of a similar incident that happened to me early June of this year.
Me & my lady went to the Improv in Brea, CA (northern Orange Co.) to see Tommy Davidson perform. I kind of knew something was gonna happen when we was seated in the front tables next to the stage.
So, we ordered our food &
and waited to the show to start. I believe 3 comedians did their routine before Tommy, but one of the comedians was this Black dude from L.A. who got on stage to do his thing. He was pretty good, but at one point in his routine, he started to address the audience and layed his
on me. All I remember is him calling me
and saying something about me being dark.
Tbh, I chuckled, but also became annoyed. I didn't
but felt more like
to
to
because I didn't like the fact that he roasted me about my complexion around mixed company.
Then it just brought up the bs I went through as a kid, teen, young adult, etc. It's just stupid and I just chalked it up as he just commenting on what he saw and it wasn't personal.
Not mad @ Breh. He is a comedian. I would see him again, if I remembered his name...
All good!
