:camby:Ellington can go we don’t need to overpay another role player
:camby:JJ & TJ
:camby:Dragic
Time to let Winslow start full time 82 games no more flip/flopping with JJ its sink or swim time
Would like for JRich & Winslow to start at the 2/3 but I no I’m asking for to much
Resign McGruder for cheap

Pat,Spo & Zo have a sit down with Whiteside and make a decision on where to go with him from there
If Whiteside is staying then Zo,Shaq someone needs to get him in contract with Hakeem or he needs to go to Tim Duncan big man camp but he needs to put in work over the summer to force Spo to have to make you a more feature player on offense

Bam needs to work on his offense game over the summer and in summer league and be more aggressive and looking for his shot

The past few years have been so damn dissapointing. We so average and the streak was probably the worst thing to happen to us in a long time. We were one or two lost games from getting Mitchell which would have meant we could have traded Dragic and Whiteside when they had value.

Loads of a long contracts for aging players or bad contracts, no real traceable assets, and we stuck in cap hell.

Ellington walking for free, TJ we ain't unloading without giving up something great, same with Whiteside, etc.

Bunch of great, young bigs with no draft picks this year, no real free agents we have a cjsbfe with, etc.

Gonna be a nasty couple of years. 76ers got enough cap space to add another mad and got 3 of their best players on ROOKIE contracts :francis:

If I hear anybody in the org talking about "let's see what we have" or "healthy Waiters next year", the mic needs to be taken from them and checked in to a mental institution
Ok breh I’m sorry but....... I hope we keep waiters cause he 1of 3 people on this whole roster with the balls to take over the game. The fact we have to depend on dragic and 36 yr old wade to pull us out bad situations is :hhh:

Atleast dion wasn’t afraid to takeover a game.

We should have traded dragic 2 years ago when he had decent value. It's going to be extremely hard to move that whiteside contract

It all depends on if Riley retires and the new gm values picks. If so, Denver would be a trading partner for Dragic, Farried; Darrell Arthur, and a lotto protected 1st for Goran is fair.

While SA; Washington, or the Lakers would be good trading partners for a Hassan trade if we’re willing to take on salary.

neither was Ricky Davis. I'm not relying on low iq players. Dion Waiters has no future as part of anything relevant here

It wouldn’t shock me if Spo or Shane takes over the GM role and looks to stay the course. With that said, a healthy Waiters next year can possibly be an attractive trade piece come ASB 2019.

Part of why Philly is when they're at is luck and timing. When you become tankwave you gotta go through years of hardships to MAYBE draft the next perennial franchise cornerstone. What happened to Philly doesn't just happen by purposfully sucking for a few years. You could just as much tank and string together a bunch of busted or underachieving high draft picks put yourself in another 5yr hole of no playoff appearances. If we're gonna blow it up, we gotta go about it intelligently. And if we're willing to blow it up, fans gotta be patient and willing to deal with bismal years and be patient with our young developing players. Philly had some REALLY bad years before they got to this point and basically got lucky with the timing and who got lucky with who declared for the Draft. Players like Simmons and Embiid don't just fall out of the sky and reward your team for sucking. The stars aligned for Philly ALONG with the sucking/tanking. Are Heat fans really about tankwave? Are we really about that not complaining when we get blown out by the Knicks, Nets, and Hawks 3 nights in a row life? If so, than full speed ahead of tankwave and I can only hope we hit half the homering Philly did in their draft picks.

:salute:

When do we have another 1st round pick? I'm assuming we're cash strapped; what can be done to help free up the cap? Haven't followed the team in a bit.

Nothing. We got one of the most expensive cap rolls in the NBA tied up to either awful contracts or long deals tied to average players.

Who's trading assets to pay Hassan a MAX deal to make their team marginally better? Or who's paying 20 million to TJ to be an average undersized combo guard in the league where length reigns supreme? Or maybe paying money for guys like Dion who looked absolutely awful when he played this season and just missed the entire season due to a season ending ankle injury even though NBA gms didn't value him when he was HEALTHY and playing well? :francis:

Did I forget to mention Whiteside, Dragic, and TJ got player options on the 2019/20 last year of their deals?

Dudes is looking at these contracts like GMs just gonna give up legit assets for awful contracts.

It feels like they been grooming that little swaggerless dude Dan Craig to be next in line due to his success with the d-league affiliate but the guy I want to see should a coaching change be made over the next few years is Juwan. He commands a lot of respect and has a nice presence as a coach from what I've seen in his work with the summer league teams the last two years.
It all depends on if Riley retires and the new gm values picks.

Ya'll supposed to be fans and still dont know how this organization works. When Riley stopped coaching one of his disciples SVG took over, then it was Spo, after Spo it's going to be someone on his coaching tree. Same in the front office, whenever Riley chooses to walk away he's going to be succeeded either by Zo, Battier, or Spo if he follows that same route. The philosophy is never going to change.
