Time to tank....we got good players that can help a lot of teams. If we can package a trade with the Thunder for Melo's expiring contract that would be good.
Say what you want about Spo, these dudes are still fighting.
It’s his only redeeming quality as a coach: they don’t ever quit under himSay what you want about Spo, these dudes are still fighting.
This team would be a first round exit with damn near any coach......It’s fine if pat stays, but Spo has to go. The personnel isn’t super talented, but they consistently find ways to lose games. Spo is he common denominator since this has been a problem his whole tenure. We aren’t going anywhere as long as he’s here. That’s the biggest hurdle to future success. He isn’t any better in year ten than he was in year one.
They lose all the time in the same manner and stay getting beat by at least 6-8 points every third quarter while all ball movement stops. Year after year the roster changes and the offense consistently struggles to score effectively or move the ball regardless. Go back and look at the team rankings in assists per game and passes per game during his coaching career. Pretty sure 2012-13 is the only season they finished top 15. In fact I’m checking it now. Here’s the team rankings in assists each season of his career:This team would be a first round exit with damn near any coach......
A team with 31 year old Goran Dragic as your first option aint going nowhere
next year, why I said we should have tanked last year, would have 3 out of 4 17, 19, 20When do we have another 1st round pick? I'm assuming we're cash strapped; what can be done to help free up the cap? Haven't followed the team in a bit.
Was he ever a coach?or even an assistant?
Those assist numbers dont mean much to me.....regardless of the assists when we had stars we had great offensesThey lose all the time in the same manner and stay getting beat by at least 6-8 points every third quarter while all ball movement stops. Not a single year without LeBron that they’ve even been average at moving the ball. The offensive rating numbers aren’t any better either. He has one playoff series win in his six years of coaching without LeBron on his team. LeBron and Wade are the only reasons that promoting this guy isn’t looked at as Riley’s worst career decision by far.
