I had said the samething not too long ago. Waiters absence made a big difference in our offense. He isn't around to shoot up bricks. It helps that Winslow isn't around either because Spo can't used him as an undersized PF, which was hurting us in the beginning of the season.

The looming 2019 tax may cost them Ellington now. He will be a free agent after this season, and if he keeps shooting like this, someone will offer him the full midlevel exception -- or something close. Miami can't pay that without rocketing into tax territory for a team that isn't good enough to justify it. If it faces losing Ellington for nothing, Miami has to at least consider dealing him, as much as that would hurt.

I know its hard to say he gon give us a heat discount but he was adamant in the offseason about staying here and hoping we picked up his option and andy pulled off some super saiyan jew numbers to make it work. Hopefully he does like JJ and meet with us first to work it out
