Why won't Bam take these guys 1 on 1? He's got the skill set to do it. These defenders just playing back on him
He’s a rookie PF/C. I’m sure he’s on. Short leash to play within the offense. Unless you’re a dominant player as a rookie I don’t see coaches drawing isolation plays for rookie bigs

Gambling on that second half he had last year was a bad move

I'm not even a Waiters fan, but we won't see how good he'll be until next year. Dude needs surgery, once he gets it in the summer, Dion will be dropping 15-18 ppg/45% FG/37% 3pt. For 10 mil a year, that's a bargain, and will be a decent trade chip.

You don't have to have coaches draw a play for you to go out and make a play

Again he's playing within the offense out of caution. Let the kid play. Ain't no rush. He's already impressed the fukk out of me for a #14 pick. Let him just get the PT to get more comfortable for now. Wouldn't be surprised if he makes Whiteside obsolete in 2 years

What makes you think he'll have those %s? He's a career 41% shooter from the field and 34% from 3. He might be able to get the 3p% to what you're saying, but he takes way too many bad shots with no signs of improving to ever be much higher than the 41% shooter he's been for his career

How?? He's NEVER done that outside of hit streaks.

But wouldn't you say that his play was one of the major factors that made the steak possible?
well, yes. That's why signing him because of that streak was stupid. That streak was the combination of a bunch of players playing above their level. A fluke. Happen's all the time. If that streak happened at the beginning of the season vs the end, we wouldn't be talking abut it and we wouldn't have signed Dion.

Breh you talking like we gave homie the max :dahell:
He was a free agent and we gave him his market rate. You know you have to spend up to the minimum payroll, right? Why not use cap space you have to use to sign players that are familiar with the system and had shown he can flourish in it?

Besides, both Olynyk and James Johnson got the same or more if I'm not mistaken. Only questionable contracts on the books right now are Tyler Johnson and Richardson's huge raise which both kick in next year
