Spo and the coaching staff already told you in camp they just want Bam to focus on rebounding and defense already trying to put his game in a box instead of just letting it come naturally.

I just don’t see how someone could develop into a player capable of leading a team to the finals under this staff

Spo isn’t a bad coach but he is just way to stubborn but he has two rings doing it his way so he has no reason to change. Giving older veteran player certain roles is one thing but to me you should let rookies/young players let the game come to them naturally. Winslow & Richardson games are suffering being force into role that don’t showcase what there strongest/best at.

If Bam has an open 15 footer I want him to take it and not pass because the coach/staff doesn’t want me taking these shots because I’m just post to rebound and play d.

That’s what I’m saying. He knows defense and he works well with veterans, but young players can’t grow if he wants to force them into a box as rigid as he does. We can’t expect a 2010 caliber free agent haul again and the next star will likely have to develop on this team provided that guy isn’t Hassan. I mean look at how he handles him. He’s gotta grow offensively as a coach for our young guys to grow too or they’ll all be severely limited and of little value for the foreseeable future.

My biggest problem is instead of letting Richardson & Winslow grow and expand there games naturally he is putting there game in a box and limiting what they can do. One of the heat breh was joking but he said Winslow is pretty much Shane Battier and shyt that the role Spo has him playing right now. @Intruder hit the nail on the head on how he is playing Richardson

Spo is fukkin up both Richardson & Winslow development something serious this season it’s just frustrating to watch.

Pat & Spo put this team together but I no Pat didn’t paid Olynyk over 12 mil a year for him to barely even get 15 minutes a night when he was post to be a big offseason signee.

Somebody posed a good question on twitter about this sentiment.

Honestly I don't have an answer. The best I can do is probably 07-09 but even that was about building towards 2010 FA which paid off. Then obviously it was nobody's fault that Bosh had his medical situation in 2015 just as we had traded for Dragic and Whiteside was beginning to emerge. They're going to make moves it's just a matter of when.
