Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
Giving credit where credit's due:

Dragic been cooking the last few games, yo. Sometimes I feel like we don't give him his props and under appreciate him as a player while praising lesser contributors. His game is awkward but he gets it done
He's a major key to this whole shyt.

Dude is top tier and super competitive

Hating? Cause I said his jumper needs to improve and he hasn't been that impressive? :dame:

I'd look outside to see if pigs are flying :hubie:
The Winslow fans are very sensitive over every mention of the kid, breh. Thread lightly.

What I found works for me is I try to pair every criticism with a compliment. Seems to appease them a bit.:russ:
Trust me I like Winslow and wanna see him be that star that many think he can be too. But I trust the coaching staff has somewhat of a clue why they don't wanna play him 43 minutes a game. The JRich getting 30+ mins is just a way to up his trade value of you ask me. They're just waiting for him to start playing well so they can move him. No other explanation

I wonder what he would do if Winslow shut down Embiid.

Bring up two possessions where RHJ guarded Embiid for threes seconds and say Winslow still trash

Dragic is great. He's definitely our most reliable player and the lungs of the team. He's so good and consistent that we take him for granted but he's the offensive engine of the team. Dion is our clutch and big time player, Whiteside is our overall most impactful and overall most important player, and Dragic is the consistency.

Winslow jumper trash but i put high premium on high IQ players that have great playmaking ability, vision, and ways to impact the game in a variety of ways. I liked Marcus Smart and Draymond too.

Winslow got a chance to be Mini-Draymond for a team and I think his jumper is gonna improve. Kid is already shooting 33% this year and looking more comfortable every game tgid year.

You also don't give the young Gawdside the kind of love you should :skip:

None of these guys are superstars, yall were invoking the name of Kawhi when it comes to Justise, seems like the expectations have come down which is fair.

Yall didn't draft him to be a mini Draymond, you took him under the assumption he could be a 3 & D wing, and the name of Kawhi was mentioned a lot in relation to him.

You also don't give the young Gawdside the kind of love you should :skip:

He's 28 and a finished product that has some really ugly warts with his game, his refusal to pass is just :scust: at times. Why you going off on another subject too, you been holding a grudge against me on the low :hubie:

He still can be that doggy, the aesthetics and accuracy of his 3 ball have improved dramatically since last year and as far as the defense goes he held KAT to 2 points through 3 quarters yesterday :hubie:

I see we've downgraded the expectations from D-Wade , to KawHi and now to Draymond :russ:
Edit: for those who don't recall Mike Krzyzewski was the one to say he was another D-Wade

Let's let him be Winslow for now. Don't give us false hope only to be disappointed. I've been burned by young players before. Miner was supposed to be Baby-Jordan. Khaleed Reeves was supposed to be Isiah Thomas (Detroit). Wade was supposed to be Gary Payton. Daekwon Cook was supposed to be Ray Allen-like. Beasley was supposed to be Melo. And those are typically the random expectations of Fans. Riley has a way of selling us on Rookies that's even more crazy comparing Dorell Wright to TMac and Bam to Shawn Kemp. I think the Wade/Payton thing came from Riley too.

Anyway, I'll let him be J-Winslow for now. His lack of leaping ability makes me he'd model his game after cats like Mashburn and I see he has been trying to get into the post more lately but the J isn't quite there yet.

He's never going to be the Klaw, gotta let that dream go breh, Kawhi was a 38% three point shooter out the gate.

Same age Kawhi was putting up 15/11 in the finals :hubie:

His defense will keep him on the floor, but to be the player yall are talking about his offense would need to take several massive steps.

Kawhi Leonard not only was playing 30 minutes consistently at this stage of his career he was also playing his natural position. Besides him being miscasted as a PF there's no Draymond comparison at all. He's in his 3rd (2nd season playing) at 21 years old, Draymond was 24 at this point. It's just a matter of opportunity for the kid.

I just don't see the offensive potential with him, for example look at Jaylen Brown, he had a lot of offensive flashes as a rookie that made you think he could put it together and become a scorer. I've never seen that from Justise, he and Stanley Johnson right now are in the same boat, and that's not to compare them in terms of potential but to point out another young SF that plays primarily because of his defense and size that's struggling offensively. Nobody right now is looking at Stan and thinking he could become a superstar, I feel the same way about Justise.

Thats fair. I dont know what Winslow will or wont be in terms of player status, as I've touched on in here I've just always held him in the class of being a winning player. Not comparing his skillset to Draymond but he can have the same kind of impact on winning.
