Ellington is smarter and makes better decisions in PnR defenses but Rich is a more hellacious defender with awho can defend 1s and 2s very well. Ellington can't defend quicker 1s or stronger 2s while still running around screens.

Also, Rich is a younger and we trying to develop him whereas Ellington is a veteran.
