Nas lost a poll on here? For a legitimately dope ass album as well? :why::huhldup::merchant::wtb::whoo::mindblown: :skip:

This must definitely be a super classic :wow:

5 tracks in and I like section 80 A LOT more. I mean A Lot. Hopefully the rest of the album picks up and/or those songs I listened to, grows on me

Lig is shytting on gkmc. There's only about 4 songs on gkmc that I could see myself listening to in the future. The entire lig album has already made my permanent playlist. I agree Kendrick has a good debut, but you nikkas take this shyt to far, the album isn't "that" good

I cant take self-proclaimed stans' opinions seriously in threads like this.
Life Is Good is better than Food and Liquor 2 in my opinion. It will be a few days before I can officially say how Kendrick's album stacks up to those releases.

Not understanding how cats are saying Life Is Good can't be compared to GKMC because the lack of replay value, GKMC ain't been out a day, let's see if ya'll still playing it or not after a month jus like LIG. Also, when it comes to rap albums with substance and the marriage of good beats that doesn't come off as overly corny/backpack shyt, why is Killer Mike left out?? LIG and F&L2 are held up as these pillars for comparison when Killer Mike's Rap Music bodies both of those albums imo.

That was quick. Didn't even have time to sink in. When I saw this thread, I couldn't tell if the album sounded that good or if people are that eager to elevate someone from their generation as the standard for lyrics and rhymes over Nas.

A lot of stupid arguments being made in this thread about cats making snap judgements, letting shyt sink in, etc. Do some of you nikkas have amnesia or just think that nobody reads posts? The Life is Good thread went diamond before the album even leaked. :aicmon: nikkas (some in this thread) were calling it AOTY first day. The F&L2 thread blew up similarly like the Kendrick one has and nikkas (some in this thread) were calling it AOTY first day. :comeon: shyt, I was in those threads myself. Stop trying to discredit the love Kendrick is getting with those dumbass overhyped arguments when y'all had no problem overhyping the other poll choices. You think LIG or F&L2 is better, cool, vote for it. Threads like these are pointless though because whatever the results nikkas are just gonna say so and so's stans came through for them.
