There is ZERO chance this gets done right...

The showrunner is the idiot who fukked up Wheel of Time and this is based off the Viking GOW stuff instead of starting from the beginning in Ancient Greece because OG Kratos masculinity is too triggering for the "modern audience" aka Twitter feminists...

Based on Amazon and this showrunner track record, expect Kratos crying in every episode with Freya being the lead....

The greece stuff just has a much smaller fan base Norse games sold 10 times as much as the greece ones, would make more sense to do a prequel series in greece after doing the norse stuff.
But i agree this will probably be trash either way.

Everything we've seen of him since then is basically him doing his best to not go back to his Spartan days and making sure Atreus grows to be better than him. How folks can't put that simple storytelling aspect together. Man is dealing with all that trauma from his Greece days still.

Unless they are going to tell the story through shytty flashbacks
Which is a tired trope
Kratos is very complex and starting with the Tre Lok/Faye storyline is just a disservice to the story

This is a terrible idea for a TV show BUT they aren't going to spend multiple seasons following the greek storyline, gtfo.
