There were rumors they were trying to blend some of the trilogy’s mechanics into it. Number one thing on my wish;it’s is more mobility. Kratos controls like a tank and after playing R&C with wall running, booster skates, tethering, i-frame dashing, I kind of need that.
‘HFW also greatly stepped up the mobility and traversal, more mounts, grappling hook, glider, etc. don’t let me down Cory!

Playstation is over 30% of Sony revenue, they need to make money breh. This is a no-brainer.

I don’t even own a PS5 yet and even I agree, they should not be doing anything that will hold this game back and limit it. Hell it would be a great mover for the PS5.
It'll sell no more than 10% of its copies on PS4 like their other cross-gen titles; I bet it's closer to 5% unless they do their same pricing technique and people buy the digital PS4 version to get the PS5 version for free.

Initially, it's likely that split you are suggesting occurs. However, after everything is said and done, there will probably be enough sold to offer a justification for a ps4 version. I don't think that they will be able for long though. To my knowledge, Forza Horizon and Halo Infinite are the only Xbox games currently being made that are native to the Xbox One as well as the Series consoles. 2022 on, all are made with X/S in mind and playable via cloud on Xbox One. Something for Sony to think about.
Are there any numbers on that because there are 100 million PS4s out there. The PS5's install base can't even be 10% of the 4's.

Numbers on what? It's well known the vast majority of these sales are on PS5 for cross-gen games. All the same, Sony obviously feel there is no need to let go of that 10% of sales on last gen.
If 5% of PS4 owners bought the new God of War there's a good chance it would outsell a PS5 version. For the PS5 to do those numbers 50% of the install base there would have to buy it.
So again I'm asking what actual numbers are you using to back these claims?

...what claims? It's a fact that the PS4 sales are a fraction of the PS5 sales.
It's not 5% of PS4 owners; it'll be 5% of total sales.
whiny ass mfs complain about an upgrade...then complain about a title being cross gen. the same mf crowd would complain if there wasnt an option for ps4 guys given the "scarcity" of the console.
