You're drowning out here, playa. You're not even making any sense.
If viewership has decreased since the 90s like you claim, and you're arguing it's about "NBA negotitations" around TV and streaming rights, then how could that possibly be when the league just recently signed its media rights for $76 billion? The league is worth more now than it was in 90s, so how could you possibly believe its trended down in viewership since then?
You foolishly took the TV ratings of the '98 Finals (in typical MJ stan fashion) and used that as a scale to believe viewership has decreased. Don't mistake fragmented viewership for viewership as a whole. Piracy makes up an ever-increasing piece of the viewership with each passing year, with
illegal streaming. Folks haven't been watching games by traditional methods for years now.
Random global popularity?
You mean the millions upon millions upon millions of followers of the NBA that weren't present like that during the 90s? It's estimated today that 620 million people in China are hoops fans, but you want to tell me that viewership has decreased since the 90s? Every single country in the world has more fans of the NBA than they did in the 90s, but you want to tell me viewership has decreased since then?
It's alright, you can admit you're wrong, you don't need to double down for the sake of protecting MJ.
