Bump. I'm glad to see this conversation exists because the 90s NBA is the most overrated era. There were some skilled players but the depth of talented back then isn't as deep as the modern era.
That’s your opinion, the fact is the NBA has trended down in viewership since the 90’s. More people want to talk about basketball or stan players rather than watch the actual games these days.

3peat lakers & dynasty dubs were all time great teams

the length of run is relative to how quickly the competition caught up & how fast the respective dynasties started falling off

the bulls run had the least amount of serious competition in their window of dominance

*
So the Warriors beating Lebron’s Cavs 3 out of 4 finals is tough competition?

100% great from rookie year

the bulls dominance wasn't just about mj being great though

it was the bulls as a franchise getting their act together old man zen taking the coaching spot & building a legendary roster top to bottom

it was the other championship franchises hitting a dormant period

the squads that kept the bulls out of the championship aged out & disbanded

bron had to go through the cavaliers being a bum ass franchise every year to start HA

you got hall of famers ganging up in boston to stop you competently ran franchises like miami or the magic & their assembly of talent etcetera

the era of staying put in one city regardless of if shyte was gonna work out or not ended

all other players in the same era had the options open everyone should have been in the finals every year too then no¿

bron navigating a different era & different set of circumstances is not a knock like many make it out to be

*
Lebron tried to stack the deck and still came up short with an embarrassing finals losing record 4-6. Steph Curry is 4-2 in the finals and he stood still, 3 of Steph’s rings were light work against Lebron.

This isn't even remotely true. Viewership has only increased since the 90s, especially globally. Stop going off TV ratings.

Futhermore, what does the 90s being overrated have to do with viewership? There's absolutely no relevance there.

for bron yeah hopping out the grave down 3-1 was a miracle HA

the dubs would be the dynasty in the situation & dynasties are dynasties because they are better than their competition

bron won punching up the dubs got the wins they were supposed to punching down as favorites

he moved to make himself competitive in a shifting landscape

chef has had the fortune of the warriors figuring things out as a franchise

he didn't have to work things out for himself through navigating free agency

gsw became a stable home for him

This guy made MJ play in his shoes.

Just seen Gil saying yesterday that the league doesnt need a face anymore because theres so much talent. But in Jordans era it was only him and thats the only person the league pushed. I was thinking how does he not remember Penny when i remember him saying Penny was his favorite player. Penny was definitely getting a push:mjlol:

Penny>>>Ant btw

The elite will always be the elite. MJ had to compete against Nique, DRob, Shaq, Malonr etc for scoring titles. Spare me the excuses

He ain't win till all them guys was out their prime.
Pls stop

Notice how I worded what said, MJ led the Bulls dynasty to a perfect 6-0 in championships. The 6 fmvps is the accolade part.

You completely ignored the main point about MJ and his skill gap versus the lack of skill gap today between a star and an undrafted player to yap about MJs 6 rings and finals maps.
Typical brainwashed jordan fan

What? We are talking about scoring titles. MJ won his first in 87. He won win all them guys were out of their primes? So when MJ won his first championship in 91, DRob, Nique and Karl Malone were out of their prime? Break it down for me. DRob won his first scoring title in 94 and first MVP in 95, but he was out his prime in 91? Nique avgd 30 in 93, off an Achilles tear, yet he was washed in 91? Shaq was washed in 91, yet he was still at LSU? Karl Malone went on to win 2 MVPs(97/99), 2 WCF titles(97/98), yet he was washed in 91?

Please stop? Nah, youre the one that needs to stop and go do some research. How are you gonna sit up here and have a debate when you dont know what youre talking about? Are you gonna admit you were wayy off base or are yoi gonna doubledown with that uninformed reply?

You shifting the goalpost to useless scoring titles when I'm talking about his competition in the finals and throughoutthe playoffs.

TLDR

I said 'TF?' to your post. If that's coming at you sideways, then I guess I'm guilty. This is a message board. Anyone can respond to any comment. I countered what you said and you responded with "F this F that, you don't know what you're talking about". That's not how I came at you but you jumped into your feelings and wrapped yourself up tightly in them. Evidenced by the above soliloquy. I can't even begin to imagine what all that says cuz it aint that deep. I'll leave you alone so you can go into your long weekend on a positive note.
That dude(possibly :mjpls:) is a mental case:russ:

Typical lame ass response..answer the other question, then. Mike won his first title in 91, explain to me how DRob, Malone, Nique and Shaq were out of their prime? Isnt that what you said? Explain, then? Scoring titles are not useless, they only matter because they arent congruent to your argument.
